A good and clean place. Reasonable. The only issue is the service is a big Long. It would have been better if there were more people to take the orders and dish out things quickly. Overall a nice place and it's good to sit outside. There's no river smell( atleast we didn't smell anything). Nice a breezy.

We arrived in JB quite late at night and we stayed across this restaurant at Berjaya hotel so we decided to eat here for dinner. It was quite good actually! We ordered a lot for two people (like than 4-5 dishes including also shrimps and squid) and the bill came out at about 40sgd which was quite cheap compared to the price we would have to pay if in Singapore. Their food portion is really big so really consider your belly before you order. Overall the experience was good!

Hi, we ordered a few dishes including Chilli Crabs and he male staff told us for chilli crabs we need to order 2 pcs instead of 1 pce chilli carb as which cannot order one piece crab so we have no choice to order 2 pcs of the Chilli crabs and was very disappointed the chilli crabs doesn't has the omps, not spicy & tasty, was tasted watery taste sauce which wasn't that nice to eat and it cost RM 166.00 and also the Chilled Mango Pudding was very sweet to eat. Others dishes seems quite okay like to Yang Chow Fried Rice. The exchange rate of S$1 to RM 3.15 instead of the shopping centre exchange rate is S$1 to RM 3.22 on that day. Foods taste average as not every dishes orderd tasted good to eat. Thank you Madam Lim

After a long period of time my girlfriend and me decided to go Johor Bahru for a staycation, we also wanted to eat seafood and wasn’t sure which place was good. That’s when i came across your website reviews. We finally got to the restaurant and no one entertain us. I also had to go to the counter to get the menu myself. After awhile this particular waitress with dyed hair came to take our orders. Food wastage is a no no for both of us, so we asked for her opinion and she impolitely replied “up to you ah” When I decided to just have a large crab about 800g. With her judgmental tone she said “it’s gonna cost you 120 ringgit ++ you know?” That statement was really unacceptable but because of the good food reviews I read on this site, we decided to stay. Yes the food was nice but I was really disappointed the with the behaviour of the waitress. My total bill was less then 300 ringgit not expensive but I felt like I was judged and in future we will avoid this place.

Food is okay. Beer tower is the fun part and good price because of duty free. Location is nice if you like seaside. Unfortunately service is very bad, staffs unfriendly and seem not trained. Hope this is not a common issue among restaurants in johor bahru.

Atmosphere is fine, food is fine just that the price is at higher end. Crew service was messy and unattentive. Captain himself was at disorder state and uncertain on what he should do next. Staff that took order from our table left out a dish which I ordered at earliest time.

This place was recommended to us by the concierge when we stayed at Doubletree Hilton, which was just 5 minutes away. Place was almost empty when we came for dinner past 11pm. Food is decent tze char fare and I would highly recommend trying the salted egg crabs.

You really need to go with a crowd as even the small serves are large. We had the scallops with broccoli, the special mee hoon and the soft shelled crab. All delicious! We were welcomed by Irene and our table server was Anna who was delightful. The ambience which is old style Chinese where we dined on the balcony overlooking the water towards Singapore was extremely mellow. Certainly would return.

Was there for dinner and seated outdoors to enjoy the breeze and sea. Ordered chilli crab with mantou buns- Buns were soft & nice but chilli crab is nothing to rave about. For 1 Large crab, it costs us RM90 but was quoted RM140. Ordered special fried chicken, omelette, hot plate tofu, sambal kang kong -Not on the menu but can be cooked and fresh orange juice. The portions of each dish was quite alot and we only ordered small portions. Tastewise is subjective so I would say the dishes are on the saltier side and nothing extraordinary. It was well cooked though. Staff were ok-not over friendly. But I'm grateful prices are transparent in a seafood restaurant and they didn't rip off tourists. The total bill came up to RM218 for 7-8 dishes & drinks. Overall, a good experience but I don't think I'll go there again.

Other than the exceptional one waitress, all the other waiter and waitresses were very friendly and helpful. The food tasted amazing. We had the following items. Fragrant Fried Oatmeal Prawn Taste: 8/10 Presentation: 6/10 Texture: 7/10 Salted Yolk Crab Taste: 9/10 Presentation: 8/10 Texture: 8/10 Fried Curry Calamari Taste: 9/10 Presentation: 7/10 Texture: 9/10 Cheese Baked Oysters Taste: 10/10 Presentation: 9/10 Texture: 9/10 Overall the place is amazing and it boasts an amazing view over the sea across to Singapore but it’s a bit heavy on the price side. Overall we spent 298 for the food above plus 2 juices which cost RM 6 each.

It was a lovely dinner cum supper for us right after our movie marathon! Continently a driving distant from KSL mall and we can have wonderful cozy seafood dinner. Price is a bit stiff but windy and cozy. Staffs services was average because the ladies who took our order was being sarcastic about the way we wanted the vegetables to be prepared. Wicked! I trust she have not came across that 2 vegetables to be prepare by the same way "garlic stir". She raised her voice at us over that. However, the male staffs who served us was very humble and warm. Making sure our tea was refill and filling up on our cups, the dishes reaches us with good comment and etc. Kinda a mix feeling over this place. Will show you the 1st 2 dishes that they served but the rest was way later (too hungry to take pictures, especially out stingray..pfff). Very bad indeed!
