We waited for 40 minutes for the worst breakfast ever. I ordered toast with no butter and 2 fried eggs cooked on both sides. My boyfriend ordered a "mini fry up" and we ordered a pot of tea to share. Tea was loose leaf and they gave us a sieve which didn't work so there were bits of tea leaf... More

Stopped by here to get something to chill off due to the hot day. Area is small but its well placed along the road side opposite McDonalds. Seems to be pretty busy most of the time. Haven't eaten their food but the refreshments were good.

My husband and I were drawn into this tearoom because he was desperate for a cup tea. When we walked in, the place looked very quaint and charming. When we sat down, the lace table cloth bore the remnants of the prior customers meal(eegh!). Anyway, we ordered 2 Cheese toasties and were presented with two slices of well toasted cold... More

Came here for breakfast and it was already 9.40am when we stepped into the cafe. There was a long table of about a dozen people and another table of 4 customers. There was 2 service staff (a male and a female) on duty. The female service staff dressed like she just woke up and immediately went to work. Our orders... More

We just stopped by as we needed some refreshment in a hot day. We were not hungry, so we cannot really judge the food but the place was quite pleasant, our drinks were OK and the owner very nice and friendly.

Looks really naff from the outside, and pretty much the same inside. Escaped a huge downpour here but sadly the little scones were hard and the overall ambiance didn't do it for me. Still a good place to escape getting drenched and a fairly decent cup of tea.

I had not been here for six months and just went in to see if it was still awful. It is! Although slap bang in the middle of the most touristy part of Langkawi the local waitress spoke almost no English. But an American girl was on hand. I ordered black coffee, scones - not to be heated - and... More

I visited Langkawi earlier this week and wanted a simple breakfast place which served eggs, scones and tea. The very instant the thought entered my head I spotted the English Tea Room & Coffee Bar. Upon entering the little cafe I felt instantly at home. The service given with beautiful smiles by Steven Carl and Joyce Loh was incredible. The... More

Just reach and its late lunch at 3pm. Still offer their big breakfast and fish &chips at such hour which is good. Big breakfast portion is big and taste is fine. Fish&chip abit too hard(over fried) and too much flour.Price acceptable since its a tourist place. Aircond is cool enough to beat the outside heat. Good environment cafe. Very english... More

Sometimes you just yearn for a taste of home .. and scones! Great place to have afternoon tea away from the heat - enjoy homemade delicious scones and tea.
