Chinese seafood restaurant with many Malay customers. Should be halal. Serving beer but was told and must use short beer glass. Can not use the common taller (Chinese tea) glasses for beer. Foods were good and not expensive despite many tourists. Ordered steamed fish (red...snapper) in teow chew style, deep fried soft shell crabs, mantis prawns, mix vegetable, oyster omelette, steamed rice x3, Chinese tea, bill RM117. A very popular place. Do expect Q and longer serving time.More

Arrived ard 7pm but was told that they could not serve me until an hour later due to priority for the Muslims breaking fast at 720pm. I agreed as I understood the situation and they were gracious to give me a table and serve drinks....I was happy that they thry managed to serve all Muslims by 730pm and my food came right after at 7.35pm. Ordered a steamed crab (god that they allowed me to order just one crab i/o the mandatory 1kg order that many restos insist?) The crab though alive right b4 cooking was not so fleshy. I suspect that the green crab had been out of water for some time ciz the claws flesh had shrunk which meant that the crab prolly had been caught a couple of days earlier and kept alive and starving, thus consuming its own flesh. Next dish of spicy lala was nice, fresh and spicy. The 3rd dish of broccoli was lightly fried to which I liked coz it was fresh and had crunch. The bill of rm70 was very reasonable. Tip is to come early as there was a queue at the entrance at 8pm. Overall, good food served. Service was good too.More

We read about this highly rated place on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. This place is a hawker roadside stall adjacent to a big drain and when we visited at 6pm (we came early to avoid the crowd) most tables were under...the hot sun (there was a roof awning but barely covering a few tables). The atmosphere was very hot, no fan, with flies targetting our food. The place does not serve pork. There was only 3 types of fish available on the menu - grouper, snapper, seabass. whem we chose grouper, they told us it wasnt available. When we asked for lobster, it was also unavailable. Choices of dishes was also very limited. When the food came, it was utterly disappointing. Our standards are not very high but the food was tasteless. Even the lala clam soup tasted like water. The sweet and sour chicken had a tough chewy texture & only tasted sour. I cannot understand why the reviews of this place were so good. On our way back, our local taxi driver told us the same thing that we felt, that it was a tourist spot and even he would not recommend it to his customers.More

The meals that we ordered was great and delicious. Worth every penny. Plenty of variety of food to choose from. Big space to accommodate many people. Prices of dishes is affordable for all. Friendly staff, even though it can be hectic at times.

This is a return trip after a year. Booked a table for 2 and ordered 3-flavoured fish, salted egg squid, nestum prawns, mantis prawn and veggie. They all tasted extremely good. Seafood were all fresh! Better still, it was so cheap I wished I can...come back often. Michael, the guy who served us was super-friendly.More

We had an amazing experience- everything was great from the food to the service. The queue is long however, although the restaurant team does a good job with quick turnarounds. 10/10 would recommend for any travelers looking for some delicious local food.

Me and my family have been enjoying the foods for the last 20 years and will continue appreciating the restaurant. Never doubt their Halal foods. The owner and staff are super friendly. I am from Penang but I cannot get such an excellent food at...my place. Travel on yearly basis to enjoy the foods with my family. Thank You Atun!More

Walked-in to Wonderland Food Store because we didn't have a reservation (always place a reservation beforehand at this place, it gets packed!). The waiting time was relatively short given the long line. We were served swiftly once we got our table. Food was fantastic! We...ordered a steamed fish, stir-fried vegetables, fried mantis prawns, two chicken dishes, and a soup, accompanied by white rice and a jug of cold drink. The price was very good compared to places like Wan Thai. One of the staff explained that the food arrived a little late because there was only 1 cook on duty that day albeit the food arriving at a reasonable pace by our standard. Service was good, food was better, price was great! Couldn't ask for a happier dinner.More

Hi, I think we spent about £20 for the two of us and had a couple of drinks and more food than we could or should have eaten. Diet went out of the window. Great food.
