The restaurant is clean and it was packed. Probably because it was a public holiday. We had to wait for about 20 minutes. We ordered steam and roasted chicken rice, bean sprout and mango salad. The portion for the chicken is rather small and not much. The mango salad was too sour and not crunchy. I would say that there... More

The food is decent, the service is acceptable but seriously speaking, there is nothing much to rave about this restaurant. If you just want to know and taste what Hainanese Chicken Rice is all about, it is worth to give it a try but I will not just drive all the way to Ipoh to taste the food serve this... More

We just needed something simple to eat after a busy day. Ordered a half serve of Hainan chicken and a serve of char kuey teow. It all tasted fine but it did not excel. Staff were friendly and helpful

My review is based on what we ordered..asam boi: tastes weird and ambra with asam boi too much sugar :( Meals: chicken rice sets, additional set of chicken and kerabu manggo. Rice and chilies was tasty. Chicken: typical taste. Soups: can taste the ajinomoto. Kerabu maggo...weird sauce taste. Sour taste only came from manggo. This is our personal experience. Others... We ordered Hainan Rice with fried chicken. Taste little bit different from usual Hainan Rice but delicious in its own way. Portion is big. Also order shrimp and vegetable. Service is fast and price is ok

Went there with my family of 7 adults and 2 toddlers. We ordered the roasted chicken, with additional bean sprout, mango salad and lemon chicken. The service was... More

Don't get me wrong, the service was friendly and the food was not bad. But certainly not as special as most people make it out to be. We tried the hainan chicken rice, since it is the signature dish, the chicken sweet sour side dish and the mango side dish. My boyfriend was looking forward to the rice dish but... More

Went there to get lemon chicken take-away. It was yummy! One portion is enough for 4-5 average adults.
