I’ve eaten at a lot of dim sum restaurants in south east Asia but this must be the most mental. And fun. Firstly of course you have to queue because it’s still so popular. Once in and sat down a stream of servers arrive to throw dish after dish of dim sum on the table. So it’s either yes or no to these tiny delights. You’re shouting they’re shouting until eventually you have a table full of your required fare. All the dim sum were very good from chicken feet to chau siu bao. We ate a lot and our bill for six people came to RM108. Excellent value and charming staff.

Oct2022. The tim sum pieces inside each "basket" is a bit small, so I get to eat a higher wrapper-to-filling-ratio, which is what I look for when I eat Tim Sum. To me, the wrapper/skin of each tim sum piece is an important contributor to the unique and delicious taste of tim sum. Otherwise, I might as well eat simple meatball/prawnball. The taste is also delicious. I am quite impressed that the tim sum arrives at our table still moist and hot, unlike in many other shops where it can be quite dry. I am quite impressed with this shop's tim sum. FrancisTLim.

We woke up pretty early and decided to head out to satisfy our Dim Sum Craving. Some say that no trip to Ipoh is complete without a Dim Sum Meal and we finally understand why. Our breakfast location requires no introduction. Min Court has been long famed in Ipoh for its delicious Dim Sum and true enough, we weren’t disappointed. Given the time of day, we were ushered to an available table in no time and satisfying our rumbly tummies. Instead of reviewing their delicious treats, we’ll let our photos do the talking Our full review is on Instagram (@monk3yseendo)

The worst Dim Sum in the world. The food were not fresh. If you like to taste the food with the smell of refrigerator, they welcome you. The service is the bad. They will just put the fod without you order it and you got to pay for it. After you finish your food, you better go. Or else they will have their ways to make you leave. Of course you can try if you wish to have a bad service as if you beg for their food.

DIM SUM, If you guys know the story behind DIM SUM. You know what I means. How can the dim sum can be such small . Can you imagine the prawn cut into 3-4 pcs , and you only can taste such a small ( quarter ) prawn in 1 dimsum. Well, I wouldnt compare those really high end dim sum. But for those who had try at least Kam Lun Tai(Loy Kee)錦綸泰(來記). Totally cant compare. Such a mini DIM SUM, but the price are not cheap ho! What I can says is all the best food are moved to KL [ Centre ]. Even kuchai lama, one of it are much more better than this restaurant. Also, I have try the mochi. nothing special. one of the pasar malam also have the same taste. The only special is their are MINI SIZE which are different.

There was already a long q when we reached at 10am. The q moved relatively fast though. Quite a wide variety of dim sum but will have to approach the service crew if you want to order your preferred dim sum as the restaurant is pretty crowded and the service crew do not really go round to every table with the dim sum. Good that it is an air con eatery as Ipoh can get really hit in the morning and afternoon. Do go early as some of the dim sum are already sold out when we tried to order.

It is must to have dim sum when you are in Ipoh. We try this restaurant and a lot of people queue even during weekday. The dim sum is so-so only and quite small piece. It did not wow me so my friend and me only try few dim sum.

We originally wanted to go to Foh San but it was closed. Heard that Ming Court is better than FS, so why not? There was no queue on a Monday at 11am. But there was also not much options of dim sum left. The presentation is really lack lustre in aluminium steam canisters. My opinion is that food should not only taste good, it should also look good. Portions are small and easy to consume more varieties. None of their dim sum appeals to me except for the muah chee which was very good. Not coming back, will try other options next time.

We reach the place at about 12 noon, the dimsum left few selection. The restaurant still in full house on that time which was actually near to their closed time. We end up taste few type of dimsum due to limited choice. The char siu pau is nice, the skin is soft and the paste was juicy. The black sesame paste was so good, it is not as sweet but smooth. The dim sum is actually small portion compare to Fushan, as i prefer Fushan more on the dimsum taste.

Worth a try. Food is good, line was long when I arrived around 9am. I was able to quickly get in because I am only solo. The food servers do not speak English. I was just lucky there’s a Chinese lady who was so kind to help me translate. They only accept Cash.

As usual, it was packed with people and we've to wait for an available table. They've maintained the standard of the food but the price may not be kind to your wallet. Comparatively, it's still cheaper than most dim sum restaurants, especially in KL.

Have always preferred this smaller restaurant to the more famous one across the street. The dim sum are smaller and that should be the way. The har kau is scrumptious (5/5) Siew mai ok (4/5), wu kok (4/5), porridge (4/5), char Siew pau (4/5). Expect to queue.

We were there 8am on Sat morning, so one of us joined the Q whilst the other went to front to check out the process. A few tourists didn't know, they simply joined the Q and waited, there is no need to Q. Just take a number. Although alot of people, you just wait 20-30min. Tim sum portions small so u can try a variety. black sesame paste is good. All the items are nice, no bad ones. I like that they bring the trays so u can see and pick what you like. Service is friendly and brisk.

Skip it and skip Foh San (opposite) and go round the corner. There’s another Dim Sum shop that serves good food and reasonably priced dim sum. Heck, even the atmosphere is better. Only known to Ipohans. The first two is a tourist trap.

We only tried this as takeaway. But for sure, the best pau and other dim sum in Ipoh. And the chocolate pau is to die for. The delivery was on time too.
