The roti telur goyang, roti bakar quality has tremendously dropped. Mee suah stall is no longer there. Some drinks ordered not delivered. Not worth returning again

The place had caused a buzz in social media & my cousins had vouched for it. Hence, it was our 1st stop once we reached Ipoh. Thank goodness, we got a parking space just outside the restaurant. We had to use Perak’s parking app to...pay for parking & since the minimum amount to load was RM10.00, I had asked one of the staff to use his app while I reimbursed him for the amount paid. The parking fee was only 60 sen for 1 hour! The place comprised of many food vendors. We had to queue for a table as it was extremely busy even before lunch! Lady Luck was on our side & we didn’t have to wait long. We were ushered to our table. There were so many food to choose from & my friend & I decided to share our food. Ipoh was known for its char kuew teow & yong tau foo. Hence, my friend ordered both. I recalled my cousin talking about a Malay dim-sum operator. So, that's where I went. We were not disappointed. Everything was indeed delicious! The dim-sum operator even told me to record her food presentation. There was smoke coming out from one of the dim-sum dishes. It was a pity that we couldn’t eat more as we were very full. There were tons of other food which I would have liked to try. We will definitely stop by whenever we’re in Ipoh. Unfortunately, we found out later that the restaurant does not have a Halal certification. However, the Chinese operators claimed that their food is pork-free. Besides, the mini food-court restaurant has been operating for the past 30 years & is well known among the local Muslim community. And they are usually busy from breakfast til lunch time.More

The good - Service was quick and to be fair, the food was quite good. The bad - I arrived at 7am on a Sunday and there were already many people there. The place became crowded very quickly and at 7.30am, a queue had already...formed outside just to get a table. Ridiculous. Price is on the high side. Small serving of chee cheong fun is RM5.50 and chilli pan mee with egg is RM7.50. My suggestion - don't bother. There are plenty of other places that are way better than New Hollywood.More

The food are undeniably delicious and the best food in Perak! Just bare in mind to get yiurself prepared for the crowd. During weekends, you might face the difficulties finding the parking and even your seats. But it worth your time to wait. My forever...favourite? Chee Cheong Fun! But there are plenty more choices that you can choose from. Please have a proper planning and time arrangement to avoid long queues. This is a must visit restaurant when you are in Ipoh!More

Ive been here 2times. You should try chee cheong fun, mee kicap, nasi ayam hainan and everything they sold there basically its all good to try. The only problem with this place is the parking. If u dont park ur car properly, u definitely will...get fined. Dont park on the sideways. Eventhough other people park like tht just dont follow them. Park at the designated place only.More

This is one of the spot that you should not miss when you are at Ipoh Perak, but you have to wake up early for breakfast :). The ambiance is like a food court with multiple selection of foods, from Chinese, Malay and Indian. Recommended...for you to try not to miss, a must go place for breakfast in Ipoh.More

This is a pork-free kopitiam. I don't mean this as a racist remark, just a group preference..... The food here is on the sweeter side to suit the many Malay clientele. Even the soy sauce of the Chee Cheong Fun and the Chow Kuey Teow...is sweet. Pretty pricey for the small plate of Chee Cheong Fun (all flour with only 3 small pieces of shrimps) RM5. I would go to Wooley Foodcourt instead, just a little further down the road.More

This overhyped eating place is just that - overhyped and overrated. It is just a corner coffee shop with lots of stalls crammed inside. The tables are arranged to maximise the space and one can get uncomfortable sitting there, with tight space and whenever there...is a crowd. Service is also not good, kind of slow and arrogant. Food and beverage taste just average and not exceptional at all. Haven't mention higher prices here compared to other places. What's good about this place, actually???More

The best breakfast place! The prawn noodle, Siam laksa were the best here! The Chee Hong fun was good. The bread with wobbly egg on top was lovely. Overall a great place to eat, lots of stalls! Local, roti canal, etc etc
