A place to find good exchange rates when in KK. Lots of bargain items to find as well as good food stalls/restaurants to eat at.

Easily the best place in town if you want to get cheap eats which are varied and tasty. The problem is most of the places close at 6pm. I really can't understand this because people end their island hopping at 5pm, and then have nowhere accessible left to eat, apart from the central market. All a question of organising your... More

Plenty of options to choose from, however, we opted for a cheap and cheerful meal from 5 Star Hainan Chicken and Rice. Meals were tasty and cheap. The wait staff were very chatty and friendly.

I just had juice from Fruto so I skipped the non-veg sushi stall that sold fresh fruit and fruit smoothies found at the center of the food court. (I also thought that fresh fruit is exepensive in MY--I can get 3 MR worth of fruit for 1-1.50 MR in the Philippines). I went to Lou Di Fong instead and got... More

A few good choices of either Malaysian, Chinese even vegetarian at an affordable price. Take care that you ask certain sitting area cornier reserves for Halal food only. You can even buy take-away style Japanese Bento & Sushi from Pick N Pay corner of the food court.

I love the old food court before Pick and Pay store open there. Back in the old times, there were so many food choices and the seat is comfortable. Now, there is even a kids toys store, in Wisma Merdeka food court - the space should be given to a food outlet. I think Wisma Merdeka management team should consider... More

Had cake and coffee at Teatime express bakery and cafe. Need to improve their cakes - carrot cake was slightly dry and the cotton cheesecake a bit burnt on the surface. Coffee was good strong Tenom brew. Good atmosphere with attentive staff. Overall: average experience for an afternoon tea outing.

Before renovation everything were good, the price of the foods were cheap and me and my friends been the literally every time we went to Wisma Merdeka. After renovation we found out that the price have been increase but the foods still the same. If that's the case wouldn't be better if we go to cafe restaurant that serves better... More

The food here used to be so good, and great value for money too! I've been eating here since forever (after Sunday mass, we usually head either to the market or here to eat), but things are not the same any more. The food are mediocre, and quite expensive (well, compared to what it was before lah).

The food court has changed significantly from what it used to be like in the past. Reduced seating with a super market now built in and new stall owners..the famous Malindo Malay Restaurant we all used to visit on our trips to Sabah is no longer there (apparently they are now in Api Api center so, not too far away)....
