Ordered the steak and crab spaghettis. The taste was relatively good but not I think they could do better with presentation. The restaurant has a rustic feel however the service is really good. The Manager is confident to walk around speaking to the customers inquiring...on their dining experience.More

We stumbled on the Brass Monkey 4 hours before opening time. The guy at the entrance stated that they weren't open but inquired what sort of a meal it was that we were after. With no kitchen staff, it was the owner, Raj, who donned...the apron and put a meal together for us. That was the start of a relationship that kept us coming back for more over the next 3 weeks. The knowledgeable and well traveled Raj, together his wonderful friendly staff, make this more than just an eating experience. The menu is varied and there is also a certain flair. Always nice to be surprised, like the Grand Marnier-mango desert that wasn't on the menu! The restaurant does not have scenic views but the decor is lovely and artistic in an unusual way. There are other regular diners that frequent the Brass Monkey too. Just before sunset a quarrel of sparrows come to visit Raj for a feed of broken rice. A South African, a Kiwi and a Scotsman walked into a restaurant..... The rest is history ..... and hopefully we get to visit again soon.More

Brass Monkey Cafe & Bar is a highly recommended place to go. It offers cosy ambiance with unique decor, great hospitality rendered by Raja and his team, and awe inspiring gourmet food served. The Grill Mustard Chicken is highly recommended.

Great dinning experience. Food wise above average but not excellent for the price you pay (more like a 5 star hotel pricing) However I'm rating it 5 cause of its outstanding service. The Food & Beverage Director, Mr Raja Sagaran has attention to details on...every expect of the service. He trained his waiter / waitress very well. Consistently checking on the food and the well being of his dinners which are very rare nowadays. Overall great experience and will recommend this restaurant.More
