it is located just along the river front. you have a good view of the river. it is now called the The White Barouk". he place is a bit quiet. i believe a new management has taken over. had a drink at this place on a hot afternoon. service was average. the beauty is the view.

It is completely an empty building now. On it's hay days, it was very popular and it does give you a very look of the river. Hope that there will be someone taking over the place soon.

Walked past this place a few times whilst visiting Kuching recently (staying at the Grand Margherita) and there were no signs of life at all. The building seemed to be completely abandoned, and a long time ago at that. There was certainly no possibility of any food being served here.

The building is a Sarawak native Bidayuh Baruk design. It has loosed its attraction as a pleasant place looking over the river and Malay kampung houses. It has a very strategic location right on the walkway of the river in the city of Kuching. Foods are definitely not up to the expectation with struggling restaurant management. Prices on the menu... We visited this place in early August but unfortunately, we found an abandon building with a strategic location; right in front of Kuching Waterfront : (

Serves local fare you will love, especially the Sarawak laksa (rich curried vermicelli). Price reasonable. A bit small so at lunch & dinner times you might not get a table. Great view of the river, you could get good shots from. So, do come back at other times as its open 24hrs!

Upon my return to Kuching and walking along the waterfront I noticed that there was no more tables and chairs there. Maybe the owners read the reviews here and decided to call it a day. Good location though.

We were told this 24/7 restaurant was a good place to go..WRONG!! The location is great; right on th eriver front. However, our experience was not one I would want others to shere...miserable unhelpful staff!! We went in and ordered our food, the fries came first but were cold, my wifes main course came out and looked dire. We didn't... More

Do not be fooled by the beautiful exterior, as that is all this restaurant has and the fact that it stays open 24hrs, from the start, they really was not interested in serving us and it took them 20mins to to come to the table, then they did not bring the satay sticks out for our entree, so we had...
