Very decent banana leaf rice. Usually frequented by locals. Generous with portions although the quality of vegetables side dishes can be variable. Must say the chicken and mutton varuval here is very good. Chapati and roti canai here is also very good too.

I went there because I missed having banana leaf food . The banana leaf food was good ..the usual rice with vegetables and papadam. When I ordered fried fish ( tenggiri ) I was rather shocked as they have me a small piece that cost RM 6.00. The owner told me if I take chicken it'll be less ...by RM... More

I had my lunch here a few days ago. This review is based on the Subang Jaya branch of Abirami ..the one near the banks ..very near Maybank. See pics. It's a south Indian restaurant. The food is still good ..I had a banana leaf meal with a plate of chicken on the side. Again don't forget to ask for... More

We frequent this place so frequently that the old waiters knew what was our usual. Food used to be good now just average. Service level and cleanliness level below acceptable. Later the waiters walk pass you without even taking your orders.

Abirami has never failed me & my friends. Its the best banana leave restaurant we have been. Very clean ambience with delicious food & great service. Price is just right. Tried the sweet delicacies...hmmm mouth watering. Irresistible!

Dirtiest banana leaves. Waiters too dirty and rude. Have been patronising this place from late 70's. After last visit no more.

Been going here for some time now. From Sri Devi to Abirami. I normally go here for a banana-leaf lunch. If you keep quiet, you will find your banana leaf filled with a lot of rice! I just love this typical South Indian restaurant. Banana-leaf comes with the usual curry and vegetables unless you ask for meat or fish. Please... More
