Its setting on the edge of the beach can't be beaten. Service is excellent and the food first class. We ate both lunch and dinner there on several occasions and variation and quality was excellent. the big gripe is that its expensive, especially for drinks. But if you accept that based on the resort you are in, then enjoy the... More

There is nothing nicer that eating dinner overlooking the sea, especially when the food is this good. We ate here both at lunchtime and in the evening and the food was consistently good. Like everywhere throughout the resort, the staff here were friendly and attentive.

We ate here for dinner twice. Both times were excellent. The service was very attentive and friendly. Our waitress Aida was great. The lobster bisque was rich and full of flavour. The risotto creamy. The fish delicious and fresh. The penne with prawns and scallops were fantastic. Wine was expensive but good. The view out over the sea is very romantic.

Enjoyed food here at Nelayan, the servings of food is big enough to make you fall asleep rigjt after eating due mainly to fullness. The taste is fantastic that you still want to order more but once is enough if you are on diet😜.

Seabass is a very simple fish can easily be delicious but mine was terrible. No taste at all for that price. And my family quite complains too for total bill... More

The price is over rated, the food is medium taste, and it is far from our room, especially my dad when he gets the room at the corner of the tanjong. The food is nice for seafood and western but when we arrive no steak and my order was seabass. Seabass is a nice fish and easy to make it... More

Had lunch there. Nice setting over looking the South China sea. Like all other poolside restaurants there was a limited choice. Place was clean and the food was average. I had the Terengganu special which consisted of a chicken curry, rice and a small bowl of lentils. Curry though could use a little bit of kick. I noticed that their... More

Perfect for lunch with sea views. Turns into a wonderful fine dining restaurant in the evening where food is excellent. The sound of the waves lapping the shore line. Oil lanterns leading to The Nelayan plus the lighting in the surrounding palms make it perfect for a romantic evening. Service is excellent. Have spent many memorable evenings there .
