We got there by mistake, and loved it. Tarik and Latifa prepared fresh vegeterian fried pastillas. The plates were big and the accompanying bread was fresh and soft (a big thing here...). Definitely worth a second visit, if we had one more day here... Highly recommended.

Nice pastilla for a little price. The restaurant is on a terrace with a lovely view of the square. The owner is very polite. Avoid the toilets which seems to belong to more than one restaurant and smell bad.

We had dinner at Le Corail on our second attempt to find the vegetarian restaurant in this square. Its hidden away in a corner, but worth looking for. The food is fresh and freshly prepared, juices made to order, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere was a nice break from the wind outside. Mr. Tarik was attentive but not obtrusive, and... More

Super good food! Actually, we discovered his delicious pastilla because he works together with another small vegetarian restaurant on that square and we ordered one the night before. Not only was it to die for, it also looked delicious! We decided to go the pastilla place the night after that and thank god we did! It's a super small restaurant... More

This is a great hidden gem in one of the courtyards of the medina. Mr. Tarik makes all the food fresh, and is very accommodating for any dietary needs. It is a great place to come as a vegetarian (I recommend the pastilla - the best vegetarian pastilla I have had in morocco!), and it is especially great if you... More

Le Corail is a small and quiet family restaurant in the heart of medina. Food is reasonably priced and all prepared with fresh ingredients. Mr. Tarik is extremely polite and clean and he will certainly do his best to feel you comfortable. Definitely a don't miss restaurant if you pass by Essaouira!!

Following recommendation from other Trip Advisor's members, as well as from riad's (we stayed at) staff member, we have had our first meal in Essaouira in this small and lovely family-run restaurant. Mr. Tarik is polite, quiet, non-intrusive host, and will do his best to make you enjoy authentic and very delicious Moroccan food. And so we did. We liked... More
