That Wilson's no longer exists, food soaked with oil, and if you do not check the bill at the end, they charge more than you did not consume. From the view of the port and the noise of the ripples it becomes a beautiful place,...More

We stopped here for a refreshment to escape the Pemba heat. The interior stocks a very small selection of fruit and veg and other dry goods. This is a breakfast/lunch restaurant with a comfortable wooden deck overlooking the spectacular Pemba Bay and port. We all...More

Great restaurant (although I heard there was a tragedy and they had to get a new cook?) But foid at WW is good and the service as well. The location is perfect, on a deck above the water 3 minutes from the port jetty. At...More

This place used to be spectacular, with an excellent Chef and nice service. Today it has changed owners and the menu is poor. Simple meatballs with mashed potatoes is called something in French, using the word BEEF...bla. bla in French...but it's just some minced meat,...More

This used to be the best restaurant in Pemba city. Since the old south african chef has been gone (for almost 1 year now) the quality and the food availability and presentation has just gone way down as well. It has a beautiful view for...More

proper south african menu, inside heavily airconditioned, a small daily shop next to the restaurant, the late-night bar to the other side, shaded parking outside, love the terrace to sit outside and watch the container ships getting in an out of the port

The best thing about willies ward is the wonderful attentive chef, Tinus, who loves to come out and get the positive feedback of clients. The menu is the most extensive in pemba and the quality good, although probably the most expensive. Helpings are generous.
