My girlfriend and I recently stopped in this place for a meal when we were visiting NYC. I wouldn't recommend anyone going out of their way to go here. The food probably would have been good if they didn't mess up my order twice. The first time I understood. The second time I was just irritated. And I am the... More

Came here to watch Euro 2016 soccer games. This is a fun bar with lots of friendly locals. Yes the chicken wings are very tasty.

Had a rest and a beer at this little tavern before our show. Was a great little space to sit and recover, talk and enjoy a drink before a show. Well located in the theatre district. Friendly staff, a well stocked bar, certainly would look at going back again.

We were craving chicken wings and choose Gleason's. A big choice of different spicy flavors among other dishes. We had 2 x 10 pcs. with two different spicy flavors with a glass of wine and a draught beer. The waiter was good and we enjoyed the meal. He even lowered down the volume of the football on all screens by... More

If you just want a quick drink and a bite, go to Gleason's. Not the kind of place to linger, in my opinion. It gets very crowded during sporting events, but it is certainly not because it has great service. It just has good happy hour prices. Late night service (on a Wed/Thurs night) is not impressive. You often have... More

Gleason’s on Broadway in Astoria, NY, is, in all sense of the word, your typical sports bar, with a number of big screen TVs, a selection of beers on tap and in the bottle, a full bar, and a wide selection of food options. The place is perfect for watching all major sporting events. We’ve passed by them a number... More

I found this place by mistake and ended up visiting 3 times in 3 nights. On my first visit I had planned to visit the Blackstone Pub on Broadway but when I got there I found it had shut down, so I couldn't. Having passed Gleason's on the way down the street from Broadway Subway I decided to retrace my... More
