Calling this place a Malaysian restaurant is an insult to Malaysian food. The dishes may be inspired my Malaysian food but that's about it. Their beef rendang was a sloppy beef curry, their gado gado was warm iceberg lettuce with a watery sauce that had maybe just come into contact with peanut. The other dishes were so unmemorable I can't... More

As a Malaysian is very hard to find a Malaysian food when you're abroad.. found this and can't wait to order my meals but kinda disappointed when the service are slow. The plain water took an ages to deliver for us! We ordered Singapore clams cook with sweet and sours sauce, fried kuew tiaw (fried flat noodles) and nasi lemak... More

Very slooow service. Food was supposed to be served in 15 to 20 minutes as per their advise, ours was served after more than 30 minutes; their reason for the slow service is because they have one cook meaning the other was/were absent; adding insult to injury as we very hungry already. They should not have accepted customers more than... More

We usually go to dinner before watching a movie, our typical movie date night would be in Greenbelt 3. So might as well share some overrated restaurant inside GB3. One would be Banana Leaf. We ordered a mee goreng, nasigoreng and laksa. And I am very disappointed with their laksa as it is similar to a filipino cuisine called "ginataang... More

I have eaten at various Banana Leaf restaurants over the years and generally enjoyed my meals there, the menu is appetising with some interesting dishes and the price is reasonable. Today at lunchtime however, I was at the Greenbelt branch and ordered a Roti Canai, rice, one bottle of water and the Green chicken curry. Unfortunately they latter cakes with... More

Reasonably priced, tasty asian cuisine with great service. This particular restaurant is on a lively terrace. Their roti is super and malaysian sauce is not to be missed

Banana leaf is a relatively cheap restaurant at Greenbelt where you could get more than your money’s worth. It is a safe lunch or dinner choice as their menu comprises of South East Asian cuisines of which most are familiar to the Filipino palate. Nevertheless, the presentation or appearance of the food are not ordinary. One dish that should never... More

I used to love Banana Leaf Restaurant for its delicious Asian food but now it deteriorated in quality of the food and service. The last time I went, the noodle dish that I ordered contained only noodles and vegetables. No meat and seafood that were clearly indicated in the menu description and photos. Obviously, the cook scrimped on meat and... More

Super Southeast Asian cuisine across all varieties, very tasty and table service generally good...if you want wine you can byo at local supermarket...if the locals like it, usually good. Century City Mall safe and secure also.
