I had the Benedict eggs and chocolate mousse with toblerone! My friend had the teriyaki tofu vegetable which she loved. I highly recommend for some tasty veggie food, everything on the menu is tempting. Good service overall. Be prepared to spend at least 500-800 pesos though!

Thanks a lot for your review! Although our food is simple, the ingredients are unfortunately expensive because from the start, we chose to go with high quality stuff. We use organic eggs, organic produce, dijon mustard, olive oil, organic red rice etc Even our dairy products like yoghurt are from an organic farm. The chocolate in the mousse is high... More

A Mecca for vegetarians in Makati. During our stay in the Philippines we have had trouble finding good vegetarian food. That is why places like Corner Tree Cafe is sparkling gems. A vast vegetarian only menu that makes your mouth water. Tasty food, good find.

Love the ambience just off the main hustle and bustle of central Makati. Relaxing place and great vegetarian variety and very different from the typical fare you experience in Makati. Love the variety of smoothies and artisan teas. Would definitely visit again when I am in town.

The restaurant is quietly tucked really in the corner with a huge tree in the front. So the name is apt for the restaurant. The ambience of this place is quite laid back and very much European. One can hang out with a cool drink or coffee and just enjoy the world go by. Coming to the food - some... More

Thanks for your review and comments. Sorry to hear you were underwhelmed with the food. May I know what you ordered so we can look into it? As for eggs, my first exposure to vegetarian restaurants was in the UK and the US -- unless they are strictly vegan restaurants, their vegetarian cafes include eggs and dairy so I kind... More

Great little place. Quiet despite being on a busy road. Food was excellent; service was great too but portions are a little on the small side.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you liked the food and service. And thanks for your comment on the portions. Was that a general feel or was it for certain dishes? hoping we can improve on this (although I generally find American portions way too much) but maybe we can improve on some of the dishes. Thanks again for that!... More

I can't remember if l have reviewed CTC prior so here goes: We had the dumplings and the lumpia, excellent! Then l had the raw organic salad - interesting but l felt like a bird consuming it :) The arroz came after - delicious, my friend had the adobo tofu - great as well! Thanks a lot for taking the time to review CTC! Glad you liked the dishes! Tofu walnut burger ... I guess it is not for everyone. Some people love it, some don't so I guess that's a fair assessment. But glad you liked it overall!!! Thanks for coming! Chiqui More

Great vegetarian/vegan dishes I've had in a long time. The lasagna was quite salty for my taste and the chocolate cake was a bit dry but a great overall food experience! The best here is there kare-Kare, a must try for sure!

If this place was within walking distance of where I was, I would have visited it every day of my trip. I did manage to go twice. It has a surprisingly extensive menu for a place like this that is very compact but has a nice vibe to it. Service comes with a smile. The quinoa salad and the Filipino... More

It is such a dilight to be able to enjoy delicious and healthy food while travelling! Especially in a country, where meat and fast food is so popular. Very original vegatarian and vegan options. Something different! Go and try it! The personal and the owner are very kind and engaged. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Thank you!

Description
Corner Tree Cafe is a Vegetarian / Vegan Cafe. We serve food from Asia to Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas in a cosy intimate setting. We also offer good wines, local beers and some house cocktails. You don't have to be a vegetarian to enjoy our delicious food. In fact most of our customers are omnivores, but vegetarians will feel right at home here (we also serve some gluten-free dishes). To add to our regular menu, we have weekly specials sometimes inspired by current events or international days. Booking is advisable. Children welcome.
