We met up with our friends for dinner and they took us to Izakaya Nihonbashitei. We ordered the Takoyaki, which was crispy with a tasty gooey interior, the Ebi Tempura, which was made so big since it was made up of tiger prawns, chahan, tasted fine, Nigiri Sushi Platter, wonderful tuna nigiri, a delish bento box, tummy warming soba, and... We have visited this japanese restaurant twice. (Random fact: A long long time ago, this place used to be a RACKS restaurant.) My wife and I like their food; the food taste good (not the best japanese restaurant in terms of food quality though), the quantity is good and the price is great (just slightly more expensive than japanese fastfood).... How do you end a laborious day? A warm cup of Ankake Ramen with California Maki and Yaki Gyoza on the side. These are my usual go tos in the resto after my shift. Nihonbashi Tei is just steps away from the business district so it easy to find! Good food selections await those who want to recover from a... More

The food are good.. The prices are very reasonable but the service is very poor... You need to call the attention of the attendants several times and their not really attentive.. Cleanliness ,,,hmmmm not really.. The tables especially the way they clean it you can still some dirt and they are just willing a wet rag on it... All in... More

i always order the Omu rice, Spicy Salmon / Tuna Sashimo, Kimchi Fishcake (?). have tried the Curry Soba on my last visit & it was good too. Service was so-so you need to getvthe attention of the servers esp. if you are in the rooms (which should have been the sop). parking was very hard! but they offer valet... More

It took a lot of time for them to complete our food and they forgot small simple requests like water and ashtrays. Which they could've arranged it because we asked to be placed in the smoking area. But the place is well cleaned.

Their clams in butter -- is the reason why I love this place and keep coming back. It's so good you want to slurp the sauce with your rice lol. I also love their squid in butter on a hot plate. The Gyoza isn't great though. The Sushi is fresh and reasonably priced. One of the reasons many local Japanese... More

The place is always full here and crowded. Service not so great. Their food taste better before so goes with the quantity being serve. And prices is high already. Though am not saying it's not good . It's still fine but the staff is not as helpful as before just like my chair is slightly slant cuz it cannot fit... More

As we finished meeting late we decided to head on to this Japanese restaurant as its open throughout the afternoon. Located in a place where the local calls it Little Japan, it never fails to meet my expectation for simple yet delicious Japanese meal. It is also quite good for business lunch as they have quite a few private dining... More

It is our 2nd time to visit this Japanese restaurant. Tasty japanese food! Tip: Call ahead of time to make reservations so as to avoid waiting. Be careful in ordering as servings are big. Recommended dish: Takoyaki and California Maki
