I wanted to try a new / interesting restaurant for lunch and after checking TripAdvisor found Hanoi. One review put me off a bit as it referred to first and time to visit however wanted to give it a try. Very pleasant staff with average Davao speed service when ordering. Clean and pleasant restaurant. The menu is Vietnamese and then Japanese... More

A wonderful unsolicited review for Hanoi. To start of, the tasteful interior decor and the overall serenity of Hanoi however, weren’t the only appealing elements of my experience. There was, of course, THE FOOD! Beautifully presented and delicious vegetarian food! The extensive menu presented and offered a wide choice of Vietnamese vegetarian appetizers, soups, salads, rice dishes, hot-pots, seafood and “salty... More

This restaurant was empty during my quick lunch. I enjoyed rice paper rolls followed by a buko pandan dessert, accompanied by a stubbie of San Miguel Light beer, served cold as it should be. The food was wholesome and appetising. It is opposite Seda Hotel so a good alternative to in-house dining.

Hanoi Vietnamese at Abreeza Mall is worth a special trip. The food is fresh, flavorful and reasonably priced. We shared Fresh Spring rolls (199), Beef Pho (250) and Calamari (265) for lunch and had more than we two hungry Vietnamese food lovers could handle. The service is professional and friendly and the dining room is nicely decorated and very comfortable.... More

It's a quick fix for your Vietnamese cravings but it's not the best I've tasted. We ordered pho & spring rolls which are Viet staples... It's good, but it's just not something I would keep coming back to.

For a long time, Hanoi was the only Vietnamese restaurant in Davao, and it has always offered a nice alternative to the common dining options in the city. The food is fresh and healthy, exotic compared to more contemporary fare, and always interesting in flavor. I'd recommend this place to both families and groups of friends looking for something different... More

The restaurant wasn't too busy when we were there. Food was plentiful and tasty with a large variety of dishes. Service was good too. Would recommend.

All noodle dishes are pork-based broth so if you're a non-meat eater, choose other dish in their menu.

The chef either hasn't ever visited Vietnam or worse, doesn't taste his dishes before sending them out. The spices and herbs used were wrong and in terribly incorrect proportions. The quality of the ingredients were also poor. I am sure there are better dining options in Davao.

Just came from Saigon, we had such yummy food there that we wanted to have the same pho, banh mi, etc...but Hanoi Resto at Abreeza Mall didn't do justice to Vietnamese cuisine. I was disappointed. Even the spring rolls with pork was bad. The one with shrimp was OK but I don't think I will come back. Sorry.
