Every time we are in Davao, we are always excited to go to Lotus court in Marco Polo. However this year we are very disappointed with what we got. We were looking forward to have the duck prepared 3 ways; but was told that it was not available because 2 ducks were "pre-ordered" on that night. Not a reason to... More

Too much food for solo ... the waiter suppose to give some guidelines when you are ordering the food. Dimsum shrimp dumpling, Sia Pao spring rolls not properly cooked... raw meat and pork too fat and hard.

The waiter rip you off and i guess try to pocket the money. Gave us a 4 inch crab told us it was 1kg... no proof of the scale. so he said ok i think 500 grams. My guest would of been 300 to 350 grams. I eaten enough crab to see how heavy it should be. We were the... More

Saw the advertisment at the Marco Polo (Davao) lobby inviting guests to try their Sunday dimsum buffet. Seeing that we did not have anything special planned, we reserved a table and prepared ourselves for an endless sampling of bite-sized savory and sweet treats. To qualify (and impressively so), it wasn't all dimsum. There was a selection of soups (the chicken and... More

Terrible food and terrible service. Came here for Chinese New Year buffet but very disappointed. Expected a four star hotel to be some standard. We are given wooden chopsticks instead of proper ones. Jellyfish dish is not fresh at all. Selection of food is extremely terrible. Served lipton tea instead of Chinese tea. A big NO for a Chinese restaurant.... More

I ordered room service from the Lotus Court. The food was at acceptable quality standards and was reasonably priced. The standout item for me was the chocolate-filled sesame balls (butchi).

It's not surprising that one of the city's best Chinese restaurants is located in one of its premier hotels. Food is consistently excellent and the variety is satisfying as Lotus Court serves authentic Chinese cuisines from various regions of China. The staff are also very friendly and helpful with our orders.

First came here for dinner on a Sunday and surprisingly there were only a few of us and thought food wasn't great, but we later savored every dish we ordered and came back couple of times more. It's a typical Chinese resto but we rate highly their: - Yang Chow (flavorful but not oily) - Chopsuey was half-cooked just right... More

First of all...the restaurant is absolutely stunning and relaxing. It has an elegant Chinese atmosphere so I feel like I was eating and meditating at the same time. The staff are accommodating and helpful, they sometimes stand beside your table for a long time just in case you need anything. It is expected to be expensive since it sits at... More
