This restaurant really stands out in Davao City. Probably the best food in the city. Best sushi for sure.

My kids love ramen and this resto is by far serves the best ramen in Davao. Must try is their beef spicy ramen---good for sharing. They serve affordable lunch menus that come with either fruits or ice cream.

The sashimi was not great, the beef teppanyaki was not good, fat, greasy. The tempura looked and tasted like straight from the micro wave. It was not fresh, disappointing.

There are Japanese restos and there's Nonki. I love that they serve authentic Japanese food with real Japanese taste (they use original imported ingredients). The prices are not bad either.

Fresh and sumptuous jap food. They are not on the limelight but you will be surprised on the number of people that dine here each night. Word of mouth indeed. No need for social media. Sucks that i have only tried it just recently. How we went to Chaya just try their matcha ice cream! Lol! They have it here... More

I'm still quite upset with myself over how I've first tried out this restaurant just yesterday. Was badly craving for Jap food - sashimi, maki and tempura, to be exact - and we were happy to find that they offered a set meal good for 2 containing all those mentioned. The set also included Beef Teppanyaki, steamed rice, and fresh... More

This place has become our cantine for lunch. Among the best fresh sashimi in town for very great value. The sushi-tempura set is a killer deal, too much food actually. The noddle or soup are great and also very fresh. Service is just fine, nothing special to report. A good place for either a business meal, couple meal... Definitely a... More

I ordered two sashimi dishes (salmon and tuna) and one sushi dish (unagi maki topped with ripe mango). I have to say, all 3 were excellent dishes. My other entree was the soft-shell crab tempura, i think it was a generous serving of 8 delicious pieces. I'll definitely be back at Nonki when i visit Davao again.
