Flew back to Cebu for several meetings and I decided to go back to Abaca only to dine this time. Sad to say that we weren't able to book a stay since most their rooms were taken during the holidays. We were greeted with the usual warmth and friendliness. The restaurant was a little busier this time with several larger... More

This was probably the best meal we had in over two week's in the Philippines! Granted it wasn't local cuisine but it was on par with high quality New York City restaurants. The service was great and it was reasonably priced. The breakfast was awesome as well.

We have been trying to find somewhere to eat that is actually edible in and around the Movenpick Hotel and as this is rated no.1 on the island we thought it must be good! Unfortunately, although in a lovely setting the food was pretty rank. I ordered the steak which was ridiculously expensive and my partner ordered the seabass. The... More

The food and service were both good. The restaurant is inside the Abaca Boutique Hotel and its pretty easy to find it as it is just after the Movenpick Hotel. Our family ranged from seniors to infants and the food was enjoyed by everyone. The risotto with the scallops was what I enjoyed most.

Was staying at the Movenpick and wanted somewhere else to try for lunch so went down the road around 5 minutes to Abaca, a small boutique luxury hotel. Their restaurant is rustic and has a view over the water. There were 2 menu options, their regular a la carte menu which looked good as well as set menu offering soup,... More

I was in Cebu for 3 days and I went here for brunch twice! I love the variety of pastries and bread. Hospitality of the staff is amazing! They are so friendly and smiley all the time. The ambience is great too! Food is good!

It isn't surprising to realise that the restaurant holds more than just great food. I was able to have their Lamb Shank and their Pappardelle. The Lamb Shank was nothing short of perfect. Effortless at how it presented itself on the table, it's beyond reasonable to note that even the carrots in the dish could keep up with how tasty... More

My 2 relatives just arrived from Italy and we had lunch in Abaca. The food was just great! We ordered the prosciutto pizza, parppadelle, Caesar salad and baked prawns. My cousins were blown away by them all. The food, atmosphere and service was exquisite and spot on. The day was just perfect!
