Came in for a cup of coffee at 14:15. Restaurant empty of clients but plenty of staff. 5 minutes to get the menu (not needed) and then another good 5-10 minutes to get the attention of a waiter. Annoying, unfriendly verging on the pretentious. Expresso...only by name...More

Excelle Italian food, not too fat. The pizzas are amazing, and the cocktails too. The service is polite, not so warm but ok for Russia :)

This is a great spot for pizza and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere to match it. Staff are very good. I have also had the breakfast here and no complaints. Would highly recommend as it’s location is one of the best in Moscow, food is...very tasty and the atmosphere is very relaxed.More

Very good food but the price is pretty steep. The setting is up-market but the atmosphere is quite relaxed. It's location is in the heart of sophisticated Moscow, not far from Patriarchy Ponds.

My kids and myself have unfortunately a gluten allergy. As we asked the menu we asked if by chance they had gluten free pasta. The waitress said: yes, only penne. All happy we ordered our meal. As a starter I got an artichoke soup that...however was nothing special (quite tasteless). Then the pasta arrived. At the moment of the bill, I realized we were charged for 6 pasta. I asked the waitress as I was sure there was a mistake. The chef (or owner?) came confirming there was no mistake. Now I’m a heavy traveler enjoying food and I know in some places gluten free meals get an up charge. Here however it’s truly a rip off!! For my basic pasta with broccoli I was charged more than the double of the non gluten free version. I was charged the full price of the normal dish and additionally more than the double for the gluten free pasta. Same for the kids! This means I paid pasta for 6 people instead of 3!! The explanation that the pasta gluten free costs more I get when the upcharge is reasonable (like in all other restaurants I’ve been throughout my life! ) but more than double it’s totally unacceptable ! I know how much a gluten free pasta costs..... also, if so expensive why is not written in the menu!!!?!? Why the waitress didn’t mention we need to pay the double??? Totally unacceptable. I will never go back.More

Stumbled across Salumeria as we were looking for a place to have dinner around the pond. First thing I have to say is it was wonderful they’ve let us in as we were definitely not dressed up to the neighborhood standards (lots of fancy restaurants...and cafes, super expensive cars and crazy motorbikes) because we just came from viewing the city and had sneakers and flip flops on. The restaurant was full but they gave us only free table. It was four of us and we were seated on a great big oval table. The menu is beyond interesting! I am a chef myself so I made a combo for the starters for all of us and it did not disappoint. The focaccia is a must try, especially the rosemary one. The prices are unbelievably low considering the part of Moscow restaurant is located in! All in all it was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend!More

The restaurant is in a really cool neighborhood. We were seated immediately which I was both pleased and relieved about. The interior is cool and busy. The staff is buzzing. They are quite busy so it’s not always prompt but it’s not because of lack...of effort, it’s more just a load issue. They have wood fried ovens for pizza but also serve regular seafood and meat dishes as well. The staff knows pretty decent English as opposed to other restaurants in Moscow. The bathrooms are really cool and have some nice rustic decor. Adds to the scene etc. the breadbasket was delicious with lots of sauces and the pizza is authentic. Definite two thumbs up.More

Does it look like a glass of prosecco? It looks like a half of glass for $10. I’m sorry guys, but it doesn’t look like a proper Italian restaurant, because if you’ve been in Italy you now about Italian portions very well:) prosciutto was terrible,...no taste. Carbonara was with a vivid sour taste, and we had to give it back to the chef (unfortunately) I’m in love with this area, but we will never come back here. We rather go to Maritozzo, because at least it’s a real Italian cuisine.More

Very nice place!, good service, friendly staff. They have an amazing Burrata and Focaccia, but the best thing, the Rissoto with Seafood, it was really something. We went to watch a Football game and had a great time.
