This is not an ordinary cafeteria, although it does excel on coffee and cakes. It is a fully fledged restaurant that offers outstanding quality. So much so, we had dinner here on a second night in our short stay in Moscow. It is certainly a lot better than the restaurants within the courtyard Marriott around the corner, where we stayed,... I arrived in Moscow quite early, around 6:30 in the morning and Coffemania was the only café I found open. I had a mulled wine and a blini, both were good but not cheap however worth it for not having to wait for another place to open.

Good quality food but expensive for this type of place. Worth coming in summer time when they put a terrasse outdoors, which faces Moscow conservatory. Overall it's a classy building and area.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place! Big selection, great coffee, simple yet very tasty and fresh dishes, not too loud, fantastic, cozy atmosphere. Just loved it!

Put it simple, I reserve the hotel in proximity with this place THREE times in a row when I fly to Moscow. Its just amazing from pelmeni to potato blini with salmon .. I can go on for the whole menu list... The stuff is just super friendly and effective. No matter what you'll try you will be back for... More

We visit coffeemania each time I am in Russia. Unfortunately my last visits in three central and popular Moscow locations were disappointing on the food side. Everything I ate was poorly presented and tasted bland. Singapore noodles, dry, warm, certainly nothing like you would eat in Asia. Grilled salmon; the salmon was again bland, no taste, not really grilled more... More

This is more than just a coffee shop, the menu is quite large, good for lunch or dinner as well. It's situated right in front of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of music. Prices are on the high side and the food is good

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
