We had an awesome time at Savva and not just because we were fans of Gentleman in Moscow and needed to eat at the Metropole. We had the Russian tasting menu which featured wonderful hot borscht with pork rilles, pike dumplings in Champaign sauce, beef...tenderloin with mushrooms and a wheat cream, honey cake with raspberry sorbet and ginger tea. Every one of these dishes were delicious and thoughtfully prepared with top quality ingredients. They comped us to a home made vodka (excellent) and we ordered Russian wine by the glass (acceptable). Service was adequate. Atmosphere was terrific. We ate outside in beautiful summer weather. Price was very reasonable but, of course, it is not cheap.More

I was here on business and some of my customers and I decided to share a meal here. Very nice place with great friendly people. I let my friends order as I don’t speak the language. There was a different drink served with each of...the 6 courses. Each was perfectly matched to enhance the flavor. This was by far the best meal and experience I have had in a very long time. I was so happy I decided to pay for all and it was worth every penny. I will return again during my next trip fully with my wife.More

Can't beat the location, at the Metropol hotel. I went with a group of 8 and we all took the tasting menu. Starting from the caviar, everything is delicious, including the infused vodkas. Pricy but worth it.

We came to have an early dinner before our concert at Bolshoi tonight, our appetizers were excellent, langostín carpaccio with caviar and egg yolk, salmon ceviche followed by duck pâté and crab with cucumber roll!!! It’s superb, I’ve never tasted a pâté this yummy and...fresh. My main course being seafood pasta and hubby’s lamb varietals (fats, liver,), out of this world. We will definitely be back before we head towards St Petersburg !!More

Food quality and taste, AMAZING. good service. Pricy but worth it. We went for breakfast the first time. Their eggs with crabs were super tasty. Coffee price was unjustified. Then went back for late lunch. Had the set menu. Explosion of flavors. Highly recommended.

Stopped by and had cocktails on the summer terrace that has a view of the Bolshoi theatre as well as the Metropol Hotel (Setting for the book A Gentleman in Moscow/Amor Towles). Friendly, efficient wait staff. Interior more formal than the terrace.

At fuse because of the location I thought this would be a tourist trap, however I was pleasantly surprised! The oysters, soup, and bread was excellent. Great selection of wines and beer.
