We went here after our tour of the Vodka Museum. They managed to find a table even though we hadn't booked and alos a waiter who spoke some English. Great food, great service - my partner was particularly impressed by the way Russia in general supported International Womens Day - here that meant all the ladies received a complemenatary glass... Went to this restaurant for dinner. Excellent traditional Russian food, soft drinks and sweet wines from southern part of Russia. I had salted milk mushrooms appetizer, pea soup with smoked bacon, stewed veal cheeks and fried potatoes with mushrooms - everything was pretty yummy. Service was fast, attentive waiter plus live music (old Russian romances with acoustic guitars) – all... More

We went to this restaurant following a tour at the Russian Vodka Museum. The food was really nice and service from start to finish was very good. The staff there are friendly and really helpful. Recommend a visit!

Interior was very special and was recommended by a nice friend for authentic Russian food, we tried many different food and are all pretty satisfied (~10 people), a far walk off from the attractions but it is not something you would regret. :)

Spend an enjoyable 2 hours here sampling vodka, food and atmosphere. Food was good, vodka was an experience, live music great. Mixture of nationalities, but mostly Russian suggesting it deserves the stars. Go it's an experience!

This place is overrated. Food is very fatty and not too authentic. Interior is somewhat interesting. Cold appetizers seem pretty good (had tongue). Hot food wasn't very good - pork shank was huge, but not great, fish was fried in oil that tasted stale. Had 2 shots of different 'nastoyek'. The worst part - had horrible food poisoning/ upset stomach... More

I've been many times in this restaurant for the last 8 years and can say that it's still probably the best place in St-Petersburg to taste Russian food. Great choice of traditional meals accompanied with many types of vodka and local strong drinks, which are especially nice during the winter time. Service is traditionally very good. Waiters usually help you... More
