The food was traditional Russian and it was delicious. There was definitely a "home-cooked" quality. The staff was nice and friendly. The decor was cozy and we enjoyed the old movies playing. Excellent experience and highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my dinner in Katyusha restaurant few days ago. Everything from the starters, through beer and vodka (properly cold!) to the mains (however portions could be bigger), as well as the service was great! Highly recommended!

Russian restaurant with light coloured interior and a long menu with traditional Russian food. During dinner we were entertained by a live singer. Nice experience and good food so I will come back.

I came came here for lunch with 3 friends. It was very quiet. Yet service was not very attentive though very friendly. We really like the interior but the food was mediocre.

Our guide in St. Petersburg took us to Katyusha, and we loved it. Very lovely, interesting décor and food was delicious. She ordered for us - and then we got up from our table and went into the vodka tasting room, which is absolutely beautiful....More

Nice restaurant in the very heart of St Petersburg. In summer there is an open terrace. Waiters are wearing matching outfit. On the weekends they have small concerts of russian music. Very nice place to rest and enjoy some entertainment. Russian traditional and georgian cuisine....More

Average food at above average prices. Nice decor, but after ordering I was asked if I wanted this or that, rather pressing me to order more. I wouldn't go back, there are better places.

Yes, generally yes, it is safe. 7pm is a full daylight. However be aware of active pick pocketers near Kanal Griboedova metro station (it is near the restaurant on the same side of the Nevsky Avenue.

“Katyusha” is situated across the street from the Kazansky Cathedral, just a few steps from Nevskiy. A hot samovar puffs smoke at the entrance, making you forget that you’re not home. Entering through the souvenir shop, you delve into the enfilade of halls – “Green”, “White”, “Burgundy” and further on – where Firebird burns on the bar stand. Mesh-patterned laces and trays from Zhostovo, sofas gently wrapped into Pavloposad’s cloths, the Gzelian ceramics, velvet and lamp covers made of chintz – this hospitable comfort and tranquility were designed by the Megre Interiors agency. The menu is thoroughly Russian. The food is nourishing – pies, pancakes and dumplings. The food is high-profile – Astrakhan sturgeon caviar, mirror-like carp, moose stew. Traditional spirits or local wines would go well with milk mushroom cutlets soaked in sour cream. How long ago have you sung romances, engaged in a circle dance or played a shell game? Every Friday and Saturday night a Dinner show rocks the place. Cheerleaded by the gentle waitresses, guests are participating. During weekdays, naval battle game competitions take place, as well as dumpling-making master classes. Katyushas are always in for a compliment at “Katyusha” – as sweet as the feeling of home.
