I don't really understand why this restaurant has such a high rating here... it looks cheap and run down, is very small but stuffed with tables, expensive ... on top of that, staff is usually neither friendly nor attentive and the food might be ok for Chinese people who've never had the chance to try so called "Western food" before... Its a small place tucked away on one of the feeder streets in the 'Walking Street' complex and its a great place for a quick lunch or plate of decent western food. Its relaxed. Its friendly (Sue the owner is a great conversationalist) and its well priced. It isn't a food mecca or anything like it but it is consistent... More

After a couple of weeks in China it was refreshing to find this little oasis of international dining . A hole in the wall that had pleasant lasagna and a relatively good pasta with a Bolognaise sauce. A cheap red ine clinched the evening.

We were a large group of 14 people, but it took about an hour to get our meals. The food is basis western style (with a Chinese twist). Not gourmet, but for western Travellers getting tired of Chinese food, it was OK.

This is a limited review because we just got 3 items for takeout one night. My wife was not feeling well so I just went and got some take out for the hotel room. The restaurant was busy at dinner time and while it is small everyone seemed to be having a great time. We got a couple different soups... More

We had a great time here. We ordered pizzas, burritos, pasta, salads and a few starters as well. There was no difference in eating the food here as it were to eat a meal in the USA. It's not easy to find good tasty Mexican food in China. Well we found it.

Ate here three times during our stay! Loved the milkshakes and the shepherds pie. Would really recommend this to anyone who is seeking great western food and a good atmosphere in Guilin.

Had a lovely meal here at the end of our trip to the area. Burger was really tasty, as were burritos. Also has cheap beer and good puddings. Would definitely recommend.

I loved this resto eversince. They serve good food. Try Sheperd's pie, burrito, chicken with potatoes. Although spaghetti bolognese is not as great as I imagined, it's okay for a western resto owned by a Chinese couple. The staff is friendly. They speak English and very courteous. They know how to please their guests. After having several dinners there (in... More

This cafe provides a respite from the busy pedestrian shopping area it's located in. It also provides western "comfort" food to travelers weary of rice and noodles. The veggie pasta was tasty and not too pricey. The milkshakes and fruit juices were our favorites! There are shelves of English language books to share and trade. Lots of local folks were... More
