We went to Keyaki for dinner and we had to queue for about 30 minutes. It is a small but popular ramen place. You select the ramen you want and pay for it from the vending machine. We ordered the spicy miso soup ramen and the garlic miso soup ramen. The portions were decent and the broth was delicious and... More

Don't miss this place. Never tasted a ramen that good in my life. Would go back to Sapporo just to have that ramen again. Tried the spicy one with mince meat. GORGEOUS!!!! Join the queue and be patient. You'll be rewarded!!!!

I had loved the miso-Ramen here for a long time until 7 years ago. However, the tastes of the Miso-Ramen with corn and butter which I had recently was not so impressive. I felt the soup lost the deliciousness 'Umami' and got a bit watery. I had queued the line for 15 minutes this time while I had been queuing... More

Wife and I ventured here based on a referral from a friend. It's an unassuming and small place that we walked by without noticing it at first. Buy the meal tickets from the vending machine and the staff will collect them once seated at the counter. Pretty tight space so get comfortable with your neighbors happily slurping away the ramen... Know this restaurant from our driver and we didnt regret it. Restaurant is very small, maybe about 12 seats around the counter. We have to buy ticket for what we want to eat, with some picture menu. the ramen noodle is curly, soup is rich taste, with much onions and thick chasiu (roast pork), the best among what i had... Just a short walk away from the touristy ramen yokocho (ramen alley) is keyaki. An unassuming shopfront on the corner of a block just by a quiet alley. You'll know it by the mostly japanese visitors and the almost lack of spoken English. We were saved by a well appointed English menu. The miso butter corn ramen soup base is... More

There are a lot of great noodle restaurants in Japan. So we should aim high. ;-) Here is a good noodle restaurant. Came there over midnight. Only about 10 seats.. so I had to wait more than 30 mins. A bit more expensive the other noodle restaurants, but there is no big difference. It is a noodle, do not expect... More

If you're looking for excellent place to eat authentic ramen, and you're in Susukino you simply must eat at Keyaki. It's one of my top 10 favorite places to eat in Sapporo. As another reviewer has mentioned you will pay for the meal using a ticket vending machine at the entrance. The menu is in Japanese, but don't worry there... More

Keyaki is a tiny ramen shop which sits about 10 people at the counter only but serves truly good ramen. The bowl of ramen is quite sizeable & the soup is fantastic. The 'cha-siu' is generously sliced & packs lots of flavour. Definitely a must try if your in Sapporo. By the way, you can also buy back packet ramen... More

Keyaki, located in susukino, is one of the most well-known ramen restaurants in Sapporo. Famous among locals and tourist the small restaurant is always crowded. The most favorite menu is definitely the Miso-ramen. Once entering the restaurant, purchase a meal coupon from the vending machine. As you seat at the table the staff will take your coupon. Since it is... More
