Went to Kobe for a afternoon to do some sightseeing and wanted to eat Kobe beef in Kobe. We came out of the ropeway and looked for the nearest Kobe beef restaurant on GuruNavi. This was the closest and one of the best. We came there without a reservation around 3PM. They noted our names and asked us to come... More

Arrived at 4pm, and was very happy to find the restaurant open, as many other recommended Kobe beef restaurants were closed at this time after lunch and before dinner. Was seated at a counter and orders taken. We chose the A5 tenderloin and the A4 sirloin and enjoyed watching the chef cooking the meat and vegetables and fried rice expertly... More

Since we were in Osaka, we decide to drop into Kobe by shinkansen for dinner. Wakkoqu was a good choice with its good reviews and location just next to Shin-Kobe Station. We were not disappointed. We decided to splurge since we had come all the way to Japan and this is the first time trying Kobe beef in Kobe. So... More

Reservation is highly recommended. Great steak with reasonable price. But I think it's too small amout of food if compare what we got in USA. We went there just right time when first open around 11.30am after there is long line and no acceptable if without Reservation...

Read reviews that it's a good place to eat kobe beef, so I went here to try it out & all those people were right. Advice: if you're short on the budget, plan ahead & make a reservation for lunch. The lunch menu is about ¥4-6k/AUD$60-90 but well worth it for the experience. I tried dinner & for a sit... More

Went for lunch on a Sunday. We received lovely service - the food was cooked teppanyaki style and it was delicious. We ordered a lunch special, and a dinner meal. The lunch special, at almost $60 USD was less than half the price of the dinner, and the meat you get is very thin so much less quantity - just... More

One of the best beef experiences I've ever had in any country. They have 2 locations in Kobe: 1 near Sannomiya station, and 1 directly above Shin-Kobe station. I went to the one near Sannomiya. The service is really good, and the staff are polite and well versed in English. The restaurant itself was nice and cosy, well decorated without... More

Teppanyaki style restaurant inside the ANA Crown Plaza hotel. Very good quality beef, but starting at ¥8,000 (which included a starter and coffee), it's not somewhere you would go to every night! It was quite quiet when we were there, but it was a weekday evening.

Wakkoqu put the standard on future meat experiences! It was a sight to have the chef in front of me cooking my meal. And the taste, unbelievable!! Wakkoqu is a must if you have your ways to Japan and Kobe.
