2nd visit in 3 days. This time with kids. First visit we tried sukiyaki pork buffet. The sauce was sweet. The pork loin was grade A.
2nd visit we tried the shabu shabu pork. I like shabu shabu better. Plain broth conbine with shabu sauce. You can feel the taste very strong.
You need to ask/ order for the meat( pork, ribs, chicken ). They keep coming. The rest like vegetables, udon, noodle, steam rice, tofu you can take it at buffet table. And the dessert? HAGAN DAAZ ice cream buffet. Excellent.
The pork buffet is Y2380 for adukts. Beef Y200 more expansive. This is for dinner.
You can order drink buffer for additional Y280 per person.
Located on 4th floor of Aeon Mall across Kyoto Station( 4 min walk ). Weekend dinner is packed.

The food is very nice, very high quality wagyu beef if you choose that particular course. Serivce is a bit slow, especially when we were asking for more beef, but we can understand the restaurant was very busy during New Years and peak dinner time. Apart from the meats, Haagen Dasz ice cream is definitely a highlight, super yummy!!!!!

The place is so comfortable and the location near the Kyoto stn. It is easy to find the restaurant. Also the food quality is quite good, the beef is very delicious and the side dish have many choices to chose, in addition the prices of soft drink is affordable. The most important thing is the staff is very nice and they are smiling very kind.

Bad bad bad! We ordered the domestic beef shabu shabu course and only the first box of beef was acceptable and the second one that we ordered was all fat and no meat which was totally different from the menu. We asked to change for a new plate and the waitresses just walked away and said nothing. A total SCAM!!!! Do not order their beef shabu shabu courses! The kelp broth soup was super water based and was tasteless! The soup was never refilled for the whole meal and towards the end we were basically struggling to cook our food! Horrible horrible horrible! I will not suggest you to come at all.

Wasn't planning to come here but we were browsing for a place for dinner and the Shabu options they have here cannot be beat! From super affordable options up to higher end wagyu, all you can drink options available. We chose the mid range course and it was fantastic. We were worried about the 90 minute time limit but we were absolutely stuffed well before our time was up! Woukd definitely come here again if we had the chance!

This is a kid-friendly place with baby chair provided which is hard to find in Japan. Service was also fast and waiters were friendly and could communicate in basic English. We chose the waygu beef which was of great quality and no regrets having our dinner at this restaurant!

Great experience shabu shabu dinner with a choice of 2 broth selection out of 6 kinds. A variety of meat options to choose from and a vegetable bar to select your own vegetables and ice cream. The service was great.

This was a 5/5 dining experience. We walked in without too much experience with all you can eat in Japan and had expectations based on all you can eat hot pot experience back in the States, which is to say they tend to load you up on carbs and give little refills of meat.
Boy were we wrong. Upon our first reorder of the wagyu beef course the server came out with a heaping plate of meat piled even higher than the first. We did notice that later plates had a bit more fat to them but this is not necessarily a negative. The dipping sauces had a nice tang which complemented the meat perfectly.
In addition the a la carte of vegetables were super fresh and had all of the expected shabushabu fixings including a variety of mushrooms. The rice was also accompanied by some savory curry which is obviously catering towards the younger patrons (but honestly is a delicious side dish for adults as well).
The servers were courteous, prompt and very helpful throughout our meal. They refilled the a la carte promptly when asked and responded to table requests very quickly.
I highly recommend this place to everyone and especially to families as the tables were huge with plenty of space to stretch out.

Restaurant is conveniently located a few blocks away from Kyoto train station. After seated, surprised to find out no one staff spoke English or Chinese. The staff eventually located the English menu, adding a bit excitement to the all-you-can eat hot pot dinner experience. The soup base was okay but the spicy one was not spicy by any standard. Meat variety was based on the menu price choice. Vegetable selection was reasonable.

They have an all you can eat menu where it is easily worth it if you’re hungry. You may need to be a little aggressive with the servers though (there is a 60 min time limit). Worth it! And really delicious! We really enjoyed it

Very good value for all you can eat Wagyu shabu or sukiyaki. It’s about $30 per person for premium beef or $10-15 for lunch . All veggies and noodles are included unlimited , drinks are $2 for unlimited with huge soft and coffee iced and hot selection. Also has a great selection of unique Japanese ice creams and sherbets.

The meal was good! We’ve selected the domestic shabu shabu course and it tasted great. The vegetables are free flow and you can pay a small amount for free flow drinks too. The sukiyaki soup base was nice. Will come back again next time!

Southern Kyoto
Southern Kyoto has a reserved air. Though the Fushimi Inari Shrine is one of Kyoto's major tourist attractions, the surrounding nature, parks, gardens, temples, and shrines provide less-visited spaces for strolling and reflection. The Fushimi Inari Shrine itself is made up of 32,000 sub-shrines, and the mountain they are dotted across beckons hikers, picnickers, and lovers of the outdoors. Many of the mountain's off-set paths aren't frequented by tourists, and the mountain's serenity can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Southern Kyoto is the place to enjoy being outside, and to pay your respects to the ancient architecture and gods of the land that are celebrated here.
