Now my benchmark is so high due to this Experience!!! 1st stop after a long flight in from Melbourne and what a Delight! MUST TRY if you are ever in Kyoto!!! Will be back before I leave next week!

Katsukura is amazing! Their meat selection is succulent and fried to perfection. Highly suggest you go for their specialty cuts of meat. Miso soup is awesome as well. Ps the miso and rice etc are free flow. Mega reccommended

In the UK, food in a shopping center or train station tends to be one to avoid, but this restaurant is brilliant. Service is quick and attentive, food is light but filling and the meal was altogether brilliant.

Best google it to find out. But being a very busy cosmopolitan station I would at a guess say it would be open.

They definitely don't take reservations. I recommend that you go there early - the you will have no waiting problems.
