We really enjoyed getting our red meat fix at Aje Kiyacho Donguri, after a couple of weeks of mainly seafood and veg. This is a really lively place, great people watching, enthusiastic, fast moving staff. Would definitely revisit.
It's our favourite haunt for supper every night if we can when we are in kyoto. The meats are super great! We always go for the special meat, hanging tenders, which runs out very fast. It's always crowded and queue can get quite long.
