Our cruise ship was docked at the Nagasaki port in March , not too far away from the mall where Yossou was located. We were hesitant at first going in there as there was no English menu but saw the attractive food display by the window and saw quite a number of people going in there. We ordered two sets-... More

When you step into this restaurant, you just jump into 千と千尋の神隠し's world. The Ancient Architecture drop you back to Japanese's history. This restaurant offer really yummy Chawanmushi, don't miss it when you enjoy the atmosphere of restaurant.

Delicious Nagasaki specialties served in an elegant atmosphere. Regular tables downstairs, tatami mats upstairs.

We arrived Nagasaki on the Royal Caribbean cruise and had 8 hours to spend on a free and easy day trip. We chanced upon a very traditional restaurant while shopping at Hamanmachi and thought it might be a good place to stop for lunch. There was no queue at the time we arrived (slightly after 12pm), but there was some... More

A very traditional restaurant! Very popular with both tourists and locals. We ordered the Steam Egg Set, it was absolutely delicious! The steam egg had the right wobble, seasoned well with so much ingredients incorporated! It came with a braised pork belly as well as seasonal vegetable! Would visit again! We came in a car, so parked up in a... More

We were a group of 15, and we each ordered different sets. All of us came in excited, thinking that we'd be eating in the best-rated restaurant in Nagasaki. We all left disappointed. The chawanmushi was stale; the rice meals were nothing special. The sushi was pretty good but nothing life-changing. Just order the sushi.

Went there after reading the good reviews and we were disappointed. Besides Chawanmushi, the restaurant is also famous for its braised pork. The Chawanmushi was so soft that it melted in the mouth. The entrance is at level 1, and all diners are required to take off their footwear before proceeding upstairs. There are two areas - one in traditional... More

Nice place with good food. We like the sashimi and steam egg a lot. For their "pink rice"....only so so!
