The music is top notch. It's like being in New Orleans, but in Malaysia! The food is ok. Definitely eat before you come here! The ambiance is very intimate with great spots throughout the cozy bar. Great location with several options for eating. It doesn't hurt that it was a two minute walk from our hotel. I loved seeing other... More

This has always been my best go-to venue for jazz music in Kuala Lumpur. The ambience is intimate and the sound is amazing. A wonderful place to enjoy good music and company.

Went there with a friend, the entree fee is RM42. Usually the venue will include a drink but not this one ( quite disappointing, coz the price is a little bit expensive). The second half of performance is not so jazzy, more like R&B. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the performance. Other than that, it's a little bit pricy.

Tucked in a little facelifted shophouse on Jalan Mesui (the quieter side of Bukit Bintang), is this gem of a jazz club. Every time I am in Kuala Lumpur, I make it a point to visit No Black Tie. The music & acts here are well curated, from stellar local artists to foreign acts. The 2-tiered performance space is so... More

Space is very tight and cramped. Tables are small, walking space is narrow. Although it is supposedly a non-smoking establishment, they allowed customers to smoke inside. Staff were indifferent when we pointed this out to them. Within such an enclosed and cramped area, this was torture for me and my non smoking friends. Non alcoholic drinks : NBT Special ice... More

We went here twice on our trip to Malaysia. The first time we saw a 3 piece band from Japan, who were excellent. "Triple Standard." I was curious to see if the quality of performers would be as good on another night. We went back last night and saw an 8 piece band " Dani" who were also first class.... More

It's a nice venue with good jazz music, though cover charge of rm53, and 3 other drink charges, which doubled the price of 4 beers to what i was originally expecting, is excessive.

I went along to their monthly jazz night and watched a bunch of young jazz musos doing their thing. What an excellent night it was. I was blown away at how good the standard of musicianship was here. Apparently this club has music every night covering a range of styles. It's a great wee place and well worth a visit.

First time here, First impression is the most important one, and mine was a disappointed one. Long time living in KL, I love good Jazz, i love good food and good drinks. I got none of it here. The welcome was poor, the food menu was a dirty piece of paper. For a Jazz or music place, there was ZERO... More
