We all enjoyed the deem sum (yumcha) lunch. The restaurant is halal, no pork, but the food was very tasty and couldn't be faulted. There are no trolleys and one orders from a menu. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to arrive. Our other meal was dinner and the dishes we ordered were also very tasty... More

Ate here on our final night in KL. The set meal was delicious and varied. I would definitely dine here again when in KL. The staff were attentive.

We ate at the Shang Palace while staying at the Shangri-La. My kids wanted to eat Peking duck. One thing to note is that the Peking duck may not be served the way you might be used to eating it. Shang Palace serves the skin in pancakes, but they take the meat and put it into a second dish. We... More

We ate here our first night in KL, we were tired and fancied staying in the hotel. Dinner totally fitted the bill. The menu had a wide choice, service was good, yes it was a little expensive, but the quality of the food was first class. Interestingly we were the only westerners eating here on a busy night, which spoke... More

Great choice of authentic Cantonese dishes. Crispy Duck with pancakes were special. Chilli chicken a little bland, but washed down with lashings of Sake!

Beautiful food and lovely setting. Really enjoyed lunch - would have given 5 but they served prawns in a vegetarian radish cake otherwise the lunch was fantastic!

We came here on our last night in KL. They had a good sized vegetarian selection so we thought we'd have a go. The decor of the restaurant was rather nice, and the service was ok, but, the food was REALLY BAD - almost inedible. Oily, bland, slop. One of the dishes we ordered was eggplant with macadamia nuts. It... More

No pork is served. Muslims can dine here in peace without worrying whether it is safe to eat here. The menu is decent.

KL has many fine restaurants and so eating out from the international hotels is very safe and exciting; certainly great value. But there are times when the comfort of the hotel and its eateries, particularly if you have had enough heat & walking around, are just what is called for. This restaurant fits the bill perfectly with a huge range... More
