Located right next to the famed Central Market, sits this Kuala Lumpur icon as far as Indian/Pakistani restaurants go. The menu is extensive, the dishes are well prepared, the service is efficient and the prices are shockingly low. Eat here!

Delicious garlic/cheese naan bread cooked in the tandoor right in front of us, and served with daal and some other sauce, and reasonably priced. I also ordered a chicken curry which came from what looked like pre-prepared takeaway trays, and it was completely cold. Tasted...great, but I'd have preferred it to be hot obviously. That said, 2 naans, daal, 7-up, 2 bottles of water, an ice cream and chicken came to around £5 so can't complain! Definitely worth it for a cheap and tasty lunchMore

The manager being very helpful filled my plate lastly putting on one small piece of squid without asking me. Then he charged me 20rm for one small dried out tandoori chicken leg and the squid ring. I questioned him about it the next morning. He...gave me a free breakfast .. less than 10rm. For 45rm the meal was not even close to the quality of restarin rebung dato chef ismail. All you can eat for buffet for 50rmMore

After 20 years stopping by Yusoof nothing change at the first look, except prices play. The famous Roti Canai served with dahl or sweet milk, and well known all over Malaysia at a various prices, between 1 to 2 MYR. Well! Yusoof found a way...to add tx (didn't have anywhere in other restaurant) plus service charge, plus a price for the milk. That's what I call playing with customers. And by the way they are so chewy now, than either they make it in advance or the cook is not good. Some of that reason I'm taking a star out of a precedent review. May be he's not alone, accross the guy is asking 7 MYR/kg for banana (US$1.70) when the same one travel all the way to America for 0.40/kgMore

This restaurant is conveniently located right across Kuala Lumpur's Central Market or Pasar Seni. We first did our shopping before we started looking for a place to dine in. It was already quite late and the eateries inside the market were already closed. Luckily this...restaurant remains open until late night. We were initially hesitant to step inside the place because of its rather seedy look. Besides it had no air-conditioned room. The dining area even opens directly to the street. As to the food, you can choose it yourself like in a self-service "carinderia" type restaurant in the Philippines. Inside you'll find very simple tables and chairs. We had some rice (nasi) with different toppings, some of which were pretty spicy. The place is clearly for ordinary (class C) people. Nothing luxurious about it, but the food was quite good and cheap. The waiters were also very helpful in translating for us what was written on the menu. We had fun trying out some local dishes before heading our way back to the hotel.More

Had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant when we visited Central Market in Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant is located near the main entrance to the Market. Alot of dishes available either on self-help buffet style or ala carte, the menu is on the wall. Lots...of local Indian and Malaysian dishes. The food we ordered was delicious, especially the fish curry. Nice clean restaurant with friendly service. Hope to visit again soon.More

this restaurant is located next to Pasar Seni KL or KL Central Market, and is easy to find, just two minutes from Pasar Seni LRT and MRT stations. Stopped for breakfast and ordered roti telur (egg prata). while waiting picked up two vadai or indian...spiced doughnut; there were two versions, the soft usual vadai and the nutty version. enjoyed the second one which was crunchy and scrumptious. that took care of the hunger pang, and launched myself into the roti telur with relish, only to discover it was tangy. expected this dish to come hot from the stove but instead it was cut into pieces and served cold.the tehtarik was so-so, therefore the only thing that may make me want to re visit was the vadai. the reading of the Quranic verse was pleasing though, reminding me of the Holy Cities, though it was a mite too loud for non muslim patrons.More

Visited this restaurant when hungry on the advice of some of the reviews on TripAdvisor.. very disappointing, the buffet was cold with limited scope of even getting the food microwaved.. The noodles were maggi noodles that you buy and cook via hot water from a...kettle.. but at least they were hot and i suppose fresh. the fish had so many bones that you couldn’t pick, combine that with the fact that it was super cold it rendered the food inedible.. Chappatis/Nans were cooked freshed, thank god, but thats about as good as it got. Mango juice was suppose to be fresh and we paid for that premium.. however it was carton juice topped with lots of ice. They had a live station which wasn’t being used so I can only guess that when that option is available the food to better, and fresher but i have no evidence for that. Much better options available around the corner..More
