We ordered the set for two. The meatballs were nice but the soup had too much msg. The chicken and the bean sprouts were okay but not exceptional. For the price though, you can get better at the chicken rice shop franchise. The one thing nice is that they also sell biscuits.

Whenever I crave for a nice chicken rice, I will come here. Ipoh is a bit too far so it's quite convenient to dine here. The chicken is tender and juicy, the sauce is fragrance with a touch of sesame oil. The bean sprout is fat and crunchy exactly like the one we get in Ipoh. I always pair the... More

I tried both in Jalan Gasing and in Midvalley. One of my favorite until my last visit on Sunday afternoon at Midvalley. Gone there for a lunch, I ordered Pork BBQ, Rice, Chinese Tea, and Lotus Soup. It was yummm, I would have give it a 4* if this incident not happened. So, while am enjoying my lotus soup, I... More

Ipoh chicken rice is suppose to be juicy and sweet....the steamed chicken we had was certainly juicy and moist but it wasn't as sweet as we would prefer. It's certainly edible. The ipoh bean sprouts is meant to be thick and juicy (it's famous) and the bean sprouts at this place lived up to our expectations. But overall I would... More

My wife and I were pretty hungry after some shopping rounds and we across this little restaurant with a big neon sign "Ipoh Chicken Rice" so we decided to give a try. So we ordered a set meal each, with chicken & rice, together with bean sproats and a bowl of meat-ball soup, surprisingly they were quite delicious and filling too though not... More

Ipoh Chicken Rice is famous for its larger restaurant along Jalan Gasing. But this smaller branch at the fourth level Mid Valley MegaMall more than makes up for the larger size with friendly and efficient staff and great food. I brought my family there for a late lunch last month. We ate downstairs, although there is an upstairs area. The... More

Ipoh is known for its alkaline water that affects the quality of the ingredients produced in the area. The beansprouts, rice and rice noodles were the best part of our meal here. The chicken was excellent but secondary. I would definitely dine here again. Not that it's super clean. BUT It's SUPER WORTH IT.
