Loveee the escargot and salmon rillette. And the best was the steak! It was cooked to perfection just how i requested it medium-rare. The atmosphere was exceptionally gorgeous! Would love to visit again

I heard excellent reviews about this French resteraunt, though I found out later that the recommendations came from people who had the Lunch menu as opposed to the evening a la cart. Firstly, the ambiance and service was good. Nice views from the upper floors...of the Alila Hotel and simple but elegant decore. The menu is a tad confusing with so many shared options unavailable for single orders but once you get your head around it there is variety. The wine list is comprehensive and the Sancere was perfect as were the entres. The Foir Gras with eel, excellent along with the liver pate. Disappointingly the soufle was "habis" I.e. Malay for unavailable which is poor form for a 5 star resteraunt but not uncommon. Then came the mains... Dover Sole and Sweet Breads.. now I know the chef is Japanese but serving almost raw Sole, a beautiful and delicate fish, as a partially cook sashimi is wrong on every level. The Sweetbreads were then over cooked and chewy as opposed to melt in your mouth and quite bland. Now for the wait staff to insist the the Sole was as it should be when we asked for it to be reckoned was weird and after waiting 20 mins with no replacement.. we basically gave up. It's a pity as the menu looks great and I dare say if you chose a more traditional beef or lamb main, it would be nice but I am not sure that this resteraunt quite knows what it is.. it's not traditional French cuisine but a mish mash western eastern fusion that does not quite work for me. An unfortunate and reasonably expensive experience not to be repeated.More

We wanted to organise lunch for our group of 40 pax on 7 Dec. Was informed that can only walk in, no RSVP for Dec. Maybe they are so confident people will be q-ing up on that day, so cannot be bothered to accept a...group reservation (even if we are willing to pay a heavy deposit) and the business is guaranteed. Was also informed there is a seasonal menu in Dec, hence they would like as many 'international guests' to sample their cuisine. So is that biasness to Malaysians? My group has international guests (which they don't bother to ask). I don't see why anyone should support them because of this attitude. We got an RSVP for Sage Restaurant instead, which i have visited twice and had both been allowed to do RSVP and service was great! 40 pax who wanted to experience Entier for the 1st time now no longer and will not patronise this place anymore.More

Dined as couple on 19 October 2022 around 7:30 pm. Ordered unagi foie gras that was cooked to perfection , kohlrabi salad which was super appealing , watercress and which was tasty, lamb loin was spot on in terms of cooking temperature , short rib...was just classy , prawn in tin was brilliant and reminded me the fish mousse served in tin of legendary Paul Pairet of Shanghai, the dessert strawberry was average in my opinion however the soufflé was the best I ate in KL It was a real soufflé with highest level of execution Very well done to the teamMore

Excellent dinner last night but service was somewhat tentative. - chose a btl of white wine and were told 10mn later that it was not available! Why is the waiter not informed beforehand? - ordered a starter then told 5 mn later it was not...available, same issue - ordered what we thought was a main course (only because it is listed in the main course page) the mud crabe, again to be told 10 mn later that it was a starter and somewhat a small dish. We insisted to have it nonetheless. It was excellent and more than sufficient. Here again, miscommunication! - as we were giving our main course we were told at 9pm, "kitchen is closing in few mn, pls order your desserts now". So we had to stop eating and conversation to check the menu and order our desserts. Small details that make the difference between a good restaurant and a "wow" restaurant. We had a good time nonetheless and will return without a doubt, and hopefully rate it 5*.More

Entier has always been out choice for some scrumptious French fine dine food. Even recommend them to our family and friends. Located on the 41st floor of Alila Bangsar overlooking the old shop lots before reaching the upscale hotel. Need not explain further as food...and presentation are excellent from Chef Masashi Horiuchi The beef dishes for July are super yummy and we added sea urchin pasta cost RM150 and another recommended dish would be the beef and foie gras. Perfectly done, Definitely recommend for French food or fine dine lover. Great for special occasions tooMore

We came here for a birthday celebration, and we were given an absolute treat. Decor of the restaurant was modern chic. Low lighting, definitely a ‘date’ restaurant. Be prepared to spend. We ordered a couple tapas dishes to start, the eel foie gras was so...delightful we ordered two. Scallops were great. But the black cod was a let down, it was bland. Could have used a little more seasoning. Non the less the texture was great. The highlight of the night for us was the Cote De Bouf, 900 grams worth of meaty goodness. A little comment on the menu, we understand that everyone is trying to be environmentally friendly and ‘safe’ with QR code menus, but not everyone has a smart phone, we do, but any establishment should have the option of a hard copy menu for those with this preference, even Michelin star restaurants around Europe practices this. Consideration should be given to those with weak vision, with low lighting in the restaurant a small thing like this could easily tarnish a potentially great experience. It almost did for us as we requested a hard copy menu, the server mentioned they didn’t have any. We insisted and he brought us an old menu, and preceded to tell us half of the items in the menu are not offered anymore. As a business owner, it’s common practice to cater to your customer’s needs. Just a thought. For the two of us our bill was in excess of 1K, but we had a bottle of wine and feasted. It was a special occasion. The food was excellent. Service was good. We had to get the attention of our server a few times throughout the night but overall we were happy. We will definitely be back. The quality and taste could easily give those Michelin star establishments a run for their money. (and we’ve been to many around the world) We are already planning to entertain some of our business clients here.More

[I originally had sent pretty much the same feedback below to the restaurant through its post dining survey, even offered to have a conversation about service improvement with Jerald Tan, the restaurant manager. But nobody had the decency and leadership to revert by phonecall, or...even reply by email. Hence I'm pleased to make my feedback public.] Visited Entier for lunch on 31 May, and was pleasantly surprised with the innovative and flavourful dishes served. But shame about the service - which was unprofessional from reservation to post dining, a reflection of poorly, haphazardly trained staff. 1) Before making my lunch booking, I had sent an email to ask, amongst other questions, if the restaurant earns World of Hyatt points for dining. No reply after 5 days. And even when they eventually replied, they forgot to answer that question. 2) After making the booking online, a special request was sent via email to request 2 celebration cakes for the 2 persons celebrating their birthdays. It took 4 to-and-fro communications before the person remotely understood the request. 3) Upon arrival, the chief waiter seated us but didn't explain what to do next. We had to flag down another waiter, who only then explained that we had to scan a QR code on the table to access the menu, and someone would return to take our orders. If I had not flagged down the waiter, our party could've just been left to sit and wait. 4) Only ONE tiny bowl of Japanese pickles assortment was placed for the TABLE - to be shared by 4 diners - is shocking. When I requested for an individual bowl to be provided for EACH diner, a first waitress came back with just ONE more bowl (as if she didn't know how to count that there were 4 diners). I reiterated that we wanted one bowl for each diner. She went to whisper to someone, then another waiter came and brought 2 more bowls, while making a huff what an apparent huge effort that was, as the "kitchen was busy and didn't have time to prepare any more bowls". Some kind of service. 5) After pouring water into the glass while standing beside a diner, the waitress would stretch out her arm and pour water into the glass of the diner who sat on the opposite side of the table. Never have I seen such inelegant "stretch action" at high end dining places. 6) A waiter wanted to clear plate of a diner before other diners had finished. Shouldn’t they be trained to first wait for all diners to finish, only then clear everyone’s plates at the same time, especially when everyone was having the same 3-course menu? 7) Before serving dessert, the waiter didn't have the foresight to take our coffee and tea orders that came with the set meal. So we had to flag someone to convey our orders. Our desserts came along, we finished eating... and we were still waiting for our teas and coffees. When we followed up, we were told by yet another waiter that they were still being prepared. Why such bad timing? Eventually the coffee and tea arrived after some wait - which disrupted our dining rhythm, as they really should accompany the dessert course. 8) Finally I had arranged for 2 celebratory desserts for my 2 parents’ birthdays. The waiter who delivered them had to emphasise TWICE that the dessert was on the house IN FRONT OF my parents. This was indiscrete and embarrassing.  Overall a mediocre experience at best, where the food was let down by the service, which made the lunch experience NOT effortless, especially for a host who's keen to have everything go smoothly and with dignified elegance.More

Entier has always been a place outstanding with Fine Dinning and reasonable prices. My clients are always amazed by this place. You can expect only the best and in a quiet area. The birthday of my wife coming at the last minute I asked the...chef if he could make something outstanding. He had only a few hours in front of him (mid-morning to lunch). I was not expected much more than a couple of additional dishes. It was my fault for a poor organization... Chef Masashi only dropped one message asking if we had any food allergies. This was reminding me of some 2-3 stars Michelin in France where you get the gastronomy menu without necessarily having the full set menu with you. This is an improvisation of the Chef based on some themes. The result: I got this outstanding meal, nothing was coming from the classical menu. He was developing some new ideas, and plates were flowing one after the other. The subtle taste, flavor, and presentation were amazing. It was a wonderful time. Sure we needed some time to eat everything, but it is like an opera you need time to appreciate; and this was so great, what an amazing moment. I remembered France from the taste and an unusual fusion with an Asian flavor, and the precision that the Japanese love to have in the display. A moment like this, you can never forget... This is THE place in Kuala Lumpur. You dream only about going back....More
