Positives: - Ambience (views are pretty) - Bread and butter as a pre appetizer was nice. - Some of the food. The sweet corn was amazing! Negatives: - Service. Our server barely spoke much and didn’t look like he was happy to be there compared...to the people at the entrance who were so friendly. - Desserts ran out quickly. Tips: - Book a table by the window for a nice view.More

We came here for a birthday celebration, and we were given an absolute treat. Decor of the restaurant was modern chic. Low lighting, definitely a ‘date’ restaurant. Be prepared to spend. We ordered a couple tapas dishes to start, the eel foie gras was so...delightful we ordered two. Scallops were great. But the black cod was a let down, it was bland. Could have used a little more seasoning. Non the less the texture was great. The highlight of the night for us was the Cote De Bouf, 900 grams worth of meaty goodness. A little comment on the menu, we understand that everyone is trying to be environmentally friendly and ‘safe’ with QR code menus, but not everyone has a smart phone, we do, but any establishment should have the option of a hard copy menu for those with this preference, even Michelin star restaurants around Europe practices this. Consideration should be given to those with weak vision, with low lighting in the restaurant a small thing like this could easily tarnish a potentially great experience. It almost did for us as we requested a hard copy menu, the server mentioned they didn’t have any. We insisted and he brought us an old menu, and preceded to tell us half of the items in the menu are not offered anymore. As a business owner, it’s common practice to cater to your customer’s needs. Just a thought. For the two of us our bill was in excess of 1K, but we had a bottle of wine and feasted. It was a special occasion. The food was excellent. Service was good. We had to get the attention of our server a few times throughout the night but overall we were happy. We will definitely be back. The quality and taste could easily give those Michelin star establishments a run for their money. (and we’ve been to many around the world) We are already planning to entertain some of our business clients here.More

[I originally had sent pretty much the same feedback below to the restaurant through its post dining survey, even offered to have a conversation about service improvement with Jerald Tan, the restaurant manager. But nobody had the decency and leadership to revert by phonecall, or...even reply by email. Hence I'm pleased to make my feedback public.] Visited Entier for lunch on 31 May, and was pleasantly surprised with the innovative and flavourful dishes served. But shame about the service - which was unprofessional from reservation to post dining, a reflection of poorly, haphazardly trained staff. 1) Before making my lunch booking, I had sent an email to ask, amongst other questions, if the restaurant earns World of Hyatt points for dining. No reply after 5 days. And even when they eventually replied, they forgot to answer that question. 2) After making the booking online, a special request was sent via email to request 2 celebration cakes for the 2 persons celebrating their birthdays. It took 4 to-and-fro communications before the person remotely understood the request. 3) Upon arrival, the chief waiter seated us but didn't explain what to do next. We had to flag down another waiter, who only then explained that we had to scan a QR code on the table to access the menu, and someone would return to take our orders. If I had not flagged down the waiter, our party could've just been left to sit and wait. 4) Only ONE tiny bowl of Japanese pickles assortment was placed for the TABLE - to be shared by 4 diners - is shocking. When I requested for an individual bowl to be provided for EACH diner, a first waitress came back with just ONE more bowl (as if she didn't know how to count that there were 4 diners). I reiterated that we wanted one bowl for each diner. She went to whisper to someone, then another waiter came and brought 2 more bowls, while making a huff what an apparent huge effort that was, as the "kitchen was busy and didn't have time to prepare any more bowls". Some kind of service. 5) After pouring water into the glass while standing beside a diner, the waitress would stretch out her arm and pour water into the glass of the diner who sat on the opposite side of the table. Never have I seen such inelegant "stretch action" at high end dining places. 6) A waiter wanted to clear plate of a diner before other diners had finished. Shouldn’t they be trained to first wait for all diners to finish, only then clear everyone’s plates at the same time, especially when everyone was having the same 3-course menu? 7) Before serving dessert, the waiter didn't have the foresight to take our coffee and tea orders that came with the set meal. So we had to flag someone to convey our orders. Our desserts came along, we finished eating... and we were still waiting for our teas and coffees. When we followed up, we were told by yet another waiter that they were still being prepared. Why such bad timing? Eventually the coffee and tea arrived after some wait - which disrupted our dining rhythm, as they really should accompany the dessert course. 8) Finally I had arranged for 2 celebratory desserts for my 2 parents’ birthdays. The waiter who delivered them had to emphasise TWICE that the dessert was on the house IN FRONT OF my parents. This was indiscrete and embarrassing.  Overall a mediocre experience at best, where the food was let down by the service, which made the lunch experience NOT effortless, especially for a host who's keen to have everything go smoothly and with dignified elegance.More

This is not a normal fine dining eat. The restaurant offers excellent sky view of Kuala Lumpur, excellent food and excellent service. The food offers that little twist in taste and presentation which add another dimension to the dining experience.More

Entier has always been a place outstanding with Fine Dinning and reasonable prices. My clients are always amazed by this place. You can expect only the best and in a quiet area. The birthday of my wife coming at the last minute I asked the...chef if he could make something outstanding. He had only a few hours in front of him (mid-morning to lunch). I was not expected much more than a couple of additional dishes. It was my fault for a poor organization... Chef Masashi only dropped one message asking if we had any food allergies. This was reminding me of some 2-3 stars Michelin in France where you get the gastronomy menu without necessarily having the full set menu with you. This is an improvisation of the Chef based on some themes. The result: I got this outstanding meal, nothing was coming from the classical menu. He was developing some new ideas, and plates were flowing one after the other. The subtle taste, flavor, and presentation were amazing. It was a wonderful time. Sure we needed some time to eat everything, but it is like an opera you need time to appreciate; and this was so great, what an amazing moment. I remembered France from the taste and an unusual fusion with an Asian flavor, and the precision that the Japanese love to have in the display. A moment like this, you can never forget... This is THE place in Kuala Lumpur. You dream only about going back....More

Everything was excellent from the concept to the menu, food, and service. I loved the presentation of the appetisers (baby cuttlefish and duck rillettes), and our mains of the scallops and short rib were exquisite. The desserts were flawless too - very authentic French flavours...and textures. The service staff were warm, inviting, and attentive to our needs too. We would like to make mention of Abu who took very good care of us! We accompanied our entire meal with two bottles of Côté Mas Crémant which went very well with the dishes. Would be keen to explore the wine menu in future. We sat in the main hall, but the booth seats by the side looked like it gave a great view of the city tooMore

Boasting breathe-taking views and nestled on the top of Alila Bangsar, this cosy French inspired restaurant promises a night of romance with its dimly lit interior and soft music against the dramatic backdrop of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline with the picture perfect setting sun....We have previously ordered their food through a delivery service hence we had high expectations. Foie Gras (RM 65 per piece) The Foie Gras arrived rested atop a french waffle with a light sugary glaze giving the dish a fine balance of sweet and savoury. It was beautifully seared on each side and gave a delightedly melt in your mouth experience. Finished with a drizzle of fresh chives, charcoal-grilled eel and black truffles. Recommended? Daintily presented and cooked to perfection. Duck (RM 230) Thankfully we were advised by the friendly waiter to hold back on ordering another dish as the duck was suitable for a seating of 2. It arrived on a little trolly and was cut and plated table side. Each diner had a serving each of a roast and confit whole bidor duck with a beautiful crispy skin. It was dressed with a citrusy and slightly sweet honey orange glaze with duck jus, a side of mashed potato and charred garlic. Recommended? The duck meat was succulent and the portion was generous each served with a side of garden fresh salad. Despite our high expectations, they served an absolutely ravishing meal. Although it took a while for the meal to arrive, crusty warm bread was served with butter to fill our rumbly tummies. We would definitely be back for more. Value for money French fine-dining There's a reason why Entier is always booked out for their lunch sessions - good food with affordable pricing. And I only found out about this when she directed me to the obscure part of Brickfields where Alila Bangsar (technically...the building is in Brickfields area but with a connecting bridge to Bangsar LRT station). "Atceli I tried to book for many weeks already but it was always fully-booked" she said. My heart melted when I got to know how she went through the hassle to surprise me, as I know the fact that she isn't very much a planner herself. Located on the 41st floor, we got ourselves a table by the window overseeing Brickfields and beyond. I kepoh a bit and took a look around - the restaurant was definitely full house and everyone was seen enjoying their lunch over chatters. Complimentary bread with kombu butter (which was heavenly by the way) was served as soon as we placed our order. I had to order a second kombu butter because it was so good. So there are two (2) options: 2-Course (RM108) without dessert or 3-Course Lunch Set (RM128) with dessert. Starters ◾ Garlic & Escargot Soup - garlic veloute (soup); vegetable stock; escargot beignet; garlic croutons. So the escargot was deep fried with greenish colour dough on the outside and served on the plate which covered the bowl of soup. The idea was to pour everything into the soup and enjoyed like that. ◾Salmon & Katsuo - cured Norwegian salmon tartare, nage of Katsuo, kombu dashi, salmon roe. Delicious but I could not help but to think that it tasted more Japanese than French. Mains ◾Duck & Potato - duck confit Parmentier, mushroom, mashed potato and crispy tuile. I was impressed by the presentation of the dish. All elements combined well together to make my tummy happy. ◾Butter Fish - butter fish beignet; sauteed pea sprout; mashed potato; pickled pearl onion. I took a bite and still prefer my duck dish. Given the choice, I'd normally go for red meat as main. The pickled onion did its job to cut through the richness of the sauce. Desserts ◾Banana Éclair - banana eclair; 70% single Pahang chocolate cream, yoghurt ice cream. I wouldn't order banana dessert if not for the other half who wanted to try it. Lovely dessert which was not too sweet yet got me wanted for more. Each set comes with complimentary tea/coffee or homemade kombucha (soda). Lunch Hour Wine Specials @ RM60 nett for any 2 glasses of white (Italian verdicchio), red (negroamaro) or pink sparkling (rose brut). Lunch was good, the companion was beautiful and most importantly, we left the restaurant satisfied with the overall food quality and service. Now she wants to come back for dinner already.More

I have been hearing great things about Entier and my curiousity was piqued. So I decided to treat my sister to a birthday dinner there. I must say the drive there was thoroughly nerve wracking. Dingy, narrow, back alleys, the hotel looked completely out of...place among its neighbours. The restaurant was charming and the food was good. Perhaps a tad pretentious, but to be expected of a fine dining establishment. A little heavy handed with the sweetness in their savoury courses and their desserts are a little lacklustre. Pretty to look at but a little lacking in substance.More
