It's located at level 58 for Horizon Grill and a level above is Vertigo. Food is of limited varieties if you're not into beef with limited selection. Plenty of wines to select from and great services from crew and chef ensuring you're comfortable and well taken care with their cuisines. Pre-book is require to get a good table with KLCC twin tower views (indoor seating), few other tables outdoor but I found it relatively noisy as right above is Vertigo balcony. Good for a try in couples but not kids (unless your kids is not choosy types).

Want a really good Brekkie, just head out to Horizon Grill @Banyan Tree. You get to order from 4 sections plus choose from a scrumptious tray of muffins and buns which comes with a cheese/cold platter. The red velvet muffin is to die for. My favourite - steak and eggs, nasi lemak, japanese don, dim sum and crispy waffles with fruits and cream. You will just have to go back again and again to try the numerous variety they have on the menu...like me 😜😂. The service provided by Hafiz and team is impeccable. Everyone is soooo nice. Best to go early on a weekday when there are less people so you can, not only relax and enjoy the food but also the beautiful KLCC and KL Tower view as well. On some mornings, you can even see the sun and moon across from each other. The view is very instagrammable. Just bear in mind that the last call for orders is at 10.15am. Accorplus members should take advantage of their member discount benefits as Banyan Tree is a participant of the program and they truly have the best breakfast among all the accor hotels in Msia. Thanks Hafiz and team. You guys make our mornings most enjoyable.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed. During my reservation, I enquired if the restaurant can accommodate my partner who was lactose intolerant. And the front desk said it was possible. Upon arrival, we were seated and waited upon by Mr Munir. He had been briefed about my partner's dietary requirement and listed down all the items in the menu which was lactose free. This helped us with our selection of starters and mains. The service by Mr Munir was great. He was attentive and fast to serve us. We particularly enjoyed the serving of fresh fluffy lavender bread, before being impressed by the flavours and taste of our mains. Generally, we enjoyed our dinner here and the excellent view of KL skyline surely amplified the experience. The staff were attentive, friendly and accommodative. Will definitely recommend others to dine here.

We were looking forward for a nice dinner with my wife but it was really terrible in overall experience. We arrived to our assigned table and we preferred window seat however the hostess said no as it’s already booked then on the spot other waitress said no it not and we can seat there.. saw the anger on the hostess face which is shouldn’t be.. then we asked a manager (wearing full suit) if the still have burrata salad which he said allow me to check with the chef and get back to you. Well He never showed up again as I believe he went home. Then the food arrived and starting with the salad then the soup (told them for share) Guess what it wasn’t for share then I told them it’s fine just the soup to split it to 2.. the shocking action from the waitress giving me empty bowl asking me to put it myself.. I told her are you serious then she realises it’s a mistake and took the soup away and serve it for 2.. main course I ordered Wgyu steak with mashed potato.. the presentation of the food was not a hotel standard and the steak was so bleedy even I told them no bleed Wasn’t even worth it with the taste & the other main course was lobster with pasta was very plain nothing to mention or to come for. there were so many kids running around and crying which sound like public restaurant not even close to fine dining moreover the door to the balcony keep opening and closing by the staff not even looking if there are guest behind them or no they sound like don’t care just doing my job. We do understand it was busy day for them but they should except it and be trained oh handling such pressure on a daily basis.. the final disaster was seeing the waiter carrying the classes with his hand and sticking his fingers to the class without tray (what type of hotels do such think). The only thing that make my experience better is the view with the weather On that day.. We were really disappointed as we expected more from the team.. the bill was presented to us without asking that mean (it’s time to go) when we were leaving the staff were busy chatting and laughing among them self and even some eating 🙈 no farewell at all.. the only thank you and come again we hear was from the security who pressed the lift for us.. we really hope it could be changed for a better and train the staff accordingly starting from the restaurant manager.. thank you

Food is acceptable, we don’t take beef (religious preference) so the selection of main course is very limited. The service is something I least expect from a 5 Star? One offending experience, we were taking just a quick moment (<minute) of the night view of KLCC and we were asked to leave by the waitress (citing guest is uncomfortable you all being here) Hello? That area is not a VIP area and is publicly accessible. I find it abrupt & “uncomfortable” too to be asked to leave just to please the “demanding guest” Are we not paying guest and have the freedom to check out a scenic view spot? You could have blocked up the place before or after we leave, NOT brushing us off to please the other guest? I don’t care who are those titled ppl but personally I feel your staff needs to be tactful with their service. I am horrified by the bias treatment (5 Star Service?) Of all the empty spots , the guest chose the nicest view and cite “uncomfortable for others be around” It’s a common dining area !! 15 mins before 8PM , instead of checking with us how’s the food and dining experience, there came your staff reminding us our time is up as there’s waiting list . (I know, I’m waiting for the bill.. ?) If I had wanted good food, I wouldn’t have come here. Being hoteliers, you should know your selling point is services. Your bias guest treatment really amazed me. Horizon Grill?? No more please.

The three of us shared all our appetizers and main course so we could really explore the fabulous menu. Every dish was quality produce cooked, flavored and presented to perfection all served by our thoughtful waiter Munir. Thanks for a lovely relaxed evening with of course a fantastic view both from the restaurant as well as the rooftop bar of the Banyan Tree Hotel.

Thank you for your excellent service!! Our table was reserved and decorated nicely with flowers and balloons while overseeing Petronas Twin Tower. The best view out of many tables. S. The Merdeka 6- Course menu is fantastic. The timing in between one course to another is well timed with no need to wait too long or rush it too fast. My favorite one was BOSTON LOBSTER!! Special thanks to En. Munir for accompany us and providing the best assistance throughout the dinner I enjoyed every single moment there!! Till next time

Went here to celebrate my wife's birthday, from the moment we entered till we left the staff were exceptional, from Hanif Adenan chef Daniel and his team to Aim who looked after us at the table. We were seated right looking to the twin towers and the staff were more than happy to take photos for us. Started off I had broth soup my wife had prawns followed by barramundi and Australian beef which was to die for, next to our surprise the staff brought out a little birthday cake with them singing happy birthday much to her embarrassment. Going by our experience would highly recommend this restaurant Merc

Dinner here is a wonderful experience. Great place to impress someone with a bit of high end dining in KL. Firstly, the views are amazing. If you sit inside, request for window seats. Secondly, the restaurant has a nice vibe - not too formal and not too casual. Tables have no table cloth - so don’t come in expecting finesse and all. It feels like a top notch bistro. The food is fresh and tasty. We had oysters which are very fresh and beautifully shucked. We shared a fillet mignon which was tasty but served not warm enough. I had a seafood bisque which was delightful although the bits of seafood flesh were too tiny. Prices for wines are as expected pretty high. Service was impeccable though I did ask for a shawl but the waiter said he will check if one was available and never followed through. Go for the entire experience of dining with gorgeous views.

We didn't have a reservation when we arrived and it was fully booked but one of the staff asked us to give her a moment to arrange a table for us. We sat down in less than 5mins and was served by a lovely staff, Shafiq who was attentive and gave recommendations based on our requests. He even apologised for the delay in some dishes as there was a backlog which was fine since we were in no rush. The wine was excellent pairing with the steak which makes me want to plan another trip next time

Main event was birthday celebration cum last day dine out in view of latest announcements of mco 2.0 starting tomorrow onwards. We did pre booking and was attended by the Horizon Grill front hostess, Ms Farhana a.k.a Nana. Nana service was impeccable and attentive to all request such as pre arrange table deco and bouquet of flower for the birthday girl. She even drop by to ensure everything is in order. She had the table sitting just at the right spot. It was cosy with amazing city view. Great compliments to our waiter Mr Munir for being very observant, friendly and responsive. As for the food we had Butter roasted hokkaido scallops and Market salad as appetizer. Main dish Santa Maria Grilled NZ Lamb Rack was my favourite. Butter Seared Atlantic Cod is recommended as well. Overall the food is good and ohh we love the breads too. Looking forward to come back soon..

A great venue for some wonderful dining. With wonderful views of the city plus an indoor and outdoor option, this place has managed to bring a whole new perspective to the KL dining scene. Service was amazing, unobtrusive and seamless. Even though the venue was packed to the brim on a busy Saturday night, the service couldn't be faulted. Kudos to Cheong and his crew. Food was exceptionally good....as with the portions. Though a scaled down menu is offered currently, the options are quite balanced. An enhanced and larger menu I was told will be available soon. Chef Daniel and his kitchen brigade have done wonders with their creativity and delectable cuisine. If ever you would want a nice and exciting dining venue to go to, this would be it. Plus point is that you have the Vertigo rooftop bar just a floor above to indulge in as well....

The views were amazing with KL'S twin towers directly opposite our table. We ordered their Seafood Bisque, brocoli soup, Irish Tbone 500g Sirloin and 200g wagyu steak. We loved their soup and bread starters, the steak were nicely presented and cooked to our liking. We appreciate the waiters' help for taking pictures of us with the skyline. We had them sneak out a birthday cake preordered for my mom, and it was wonderfully executed. Overall a great dining experience with great skyline views. We'll definitely be back!

Couple months back, I had the opportunity to celebrate my anniversary with my wife in this beautiful restaurant. The service was great and the food was simply amazing. From the great food to the beautiful view of KL skyline, everything was just as I imagined and more. But what caught us by surprise was when the chef and manager came by personally to check with us if everything was good. Least to say it was wonderful. For a night to remember, I would highly recommend to visit this place, as I know we will definitely visit again. We would like to personally thank everyone from Horizon Grill which made this a wonderful experience.

I went to Horizon multiple times before COVID and genuinely enjoyed it, which is why I chose to have my birthday dinner there. Unfortunately since it reopened the prices increased noticeably and quality of the food and service decreased. While I generally don't care for it the restaurant asked about the occasion and it being a birthday was communicated. During the dinner multiple other tables that celebrated their birthday were acknowledged as such by the staff. We however were entirely ignored. The Tiramisu desert was extremely mushy and lacked any noticeable texture and flavour, when we brought this up with the staff they started to argue and insisted the dessert is based on an authentic recipe and should be the way it is. While that may be the case we certainly didn't enjoy it and arguing with customers in a RM300+ per dish restaurant is not appropriate. After that we were entirely ignored by the staff and our requested check was never brought until I walked out to be able to eventually pay and leave. It's sad that this place went downhill so badly, as the location does have a lot of potential. I certainly won't return.
