Read somewhere that this place is too crowded with tourists nowdays. Yesterday the street was really crowded vut the most people were locals. Got really good mussels, squid abd chixken satay from some stalls. Fast service, average prices. Can recommend!

We visited Jalon Alor for the street food market 5 years ago and decided to try it again as our first visit was very enjoyable. It is still good but is now much more of a tourist destination and has expanded significantly. take your time and ignore hassling by the touts. Look for businesses frequented by locals and you will... More

Be careful when walking. A car tyre might hit your foot. They also do not provide smoking areas. I am troubled to see smokers... More

This place is known for its street food, and it lives up to the expectation. Just walk around and you see a sea of people thronging a sea of eateries. It was fun - seating outside and the whole humanity was walking past me. No, this is not your place if you are fincky about hygiene, but if you are... More

The street itself it ridiculously loud with the cars , motorcyclist , and swamps of people walk around looking for foods. The best way to find a good spot is when you see tonnes of people sitting... As most people already stated - yes, it is trouristic and the prices are above the average. However, it is a scenic experience and provides an overwhelming mix of food stalls. If you are in Bukit Bintang it is an obvious choice for dinner (unless you have set your mind on something in particular). Having lived in Malaysia for some... More
