Visited Betel Leaf this afternoon and ordered a few dishes which included mutton bone marrow. There were two large bone marrows served. We could only eat one of mutton bone marrow and had to pack the other one. When we got home, we were shocked...to find stuffed meat inside the packed mutton bone marrow. This left us feeling so cheated. Tried calling the restaurant to complain but nobody picked up the call. As an advice to the restaurant- please don’t do this to your customers. It’s completely unacceptable!More

Excellence place, love their South Indian thali set. Visited after 10 years they are still maintaining the quality and now they expand their sitting capacity. Great place to visit again

I was at Betel leaf in Jan 2 this year. I pre booked a table for 10, ordered in advance and gave RM 200 as deposit. When we arrived, we told the staff of our reservation. No one was aware of it. We found a...table that fitted us near the window. We ordered drinks, soup and thali sets. A lady served us. We told her that we pre ordered some mains and to serve it together with rice etc. Everything came but the preordered dishes of chicken, mutton, fish etc. I enquired about it and ask to see their manager. He came and acknowledged that we pre ordered. 12 dishes came out cold. I think it has been sitting somewhere for sometime. April, I was there with some friends. We were served by a young man with a tablet on hand. Food came out fast and warm. I went to the counter to check their range of ice cream and paid for the meal. Went back to the table. A guest of mine went to the washroom. I did not know that she was going to pay for the meal too. Tea came, it was ordered by her after the bill was settled. While we were leaving, I went to settle the bill for the tea. I was told by my friend that she had already paid for everything. I was surprised. The bill was settled TWICE! I confronted the management on how this could have happened. I have operated a Point of Sales terminsl system before. When a bill is settled, a receipt would not be generated. Their explanation was when my friend asked to pay for the bill, there was no bill. They made up a written bill for my friend to pay and said that the bill is missing. So they are operating without systems, are unscrupulous, lack of understanding in management etc. By the way, their menu prices are up by 20%. I will not be recommending this place to anyone....More

Very delicious Indian food! Especially the “Lime Chicken (boneless)“ was very rich in flavor with perfectly tender chicken. Would definitely recommend and come back to try out more.

We came to this restaurant due to the rating and the restaurant describing them self as fine dining on their web site. This restaurant is described as fine dining and it’s not. We ordered 2 veg dishes and 2 meat dishes. Roti and naan and...rice Roti and naan were the same! I was expecting my naans to be soft and fluffy. They were thin and burnt! The chicken dish was full of chicken bones which I would not feed my dog! However the veg dishes were ok. Not sure how this restaurant is getting such a high rating!! It is very expensive for what it is!More

Good value Indian food. We had quick service and the resturant was clean and tidy inside. A nice atmosphere, even though they were very busy they were able to seat 7 of us. Excellent range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. I had the Northern thali...which was cheap at 16 ringetts (worked out at £3!). Came with 4 different vegetarian curries, yoghurt, and a rice and naan. Cons: menu could have specified more clearly what was vegetarian and what was dairy-free etc. No wifiMore

Came across from trip advisor, heard the food are great, unfortunately overrated, doesn’t seem match how Indian foods are prepared. The ladies working here have no smiles, this is not I called “fine dining “ frankly as a stall service. Food not that great, mango...lassi too sweet lack of sour yogurt, I have been many Indian restaurants in Kuala-Lumpur, most of them are not welcome soonest you entering their restaurant, I think I have done it, as a local I guess I rather spending at normal Indian restaurant that I called “mamak” they are cheap and good food Never come again to this restaurant.More

The service was so cold. We felt very unwelcome. I think the only person who spoke to us was the guy who took our order, the others didn’t even make eye contact. The onion bhajis were the strangest I’ve ever come across. The chicken curry...was inedible, all bone. The vegetable kurma was not a kurma, more like an overly spiced watery soup. The garlic naan was good, I’ll give them that. We had really high expectations for this place but left completely disappointed.More

Interesting menu. Avoid going there during peak hours as the place can get really crowded and noisy. No reservations are required. Mutton briyani was good. Baghra brinjal is a must try! Yummy food at affordable price. The briyani over here is way cheaper than any...other Indian restaurants out there and tastier too! Nice ambience and friendly customer service.More

Came here because it was rated 4.2 on google, and also we were craving Good, wallet friendly Indian restaurant! I got masala dosa: very tasty, comes with 3 different chutneys and sambhar. I liked 2 chutneys out of the 3; I didn’t like the red...tomato one. The sambhar tasted like a regular daal, no sambhar like taste to it. I also got uttapam, you can’t go wrong with it and it was good. We got fried rice which tasted like a lot black pepper added to it! We also got a betel leaf special chicken dish which was Mostly bones and was annoying to eat because you kept on getting the bones. The taste was ok. The menu said “cubes” of chicken and I guess the cubes meant bones! Good price, cleanliness was good as well!More
