I looked forward visiting this restaurant but it was a disappointment. I guess I expected too much. It felt like I have been to a place like this before the dishes except for desert seemed boring for the fuss and price level of the restaurant. The dessert chocolate mint sth was great! Very nice presentation. The main problem was the... More

Evening started with good cocktails from the friendly bar man - he makes really good drinks! Fusion style evening menu crafted by talented kitchen team. Wine list was limited by the glass but good and reasonably priced for KL. Chocolate desert was quite playful with the use of liquid nitrogen and spray scent. Service staff seemed somewhat mixed in experience... More

This restaurant is compact but comfortable. Four of us ordered 3-course dinner. It is fusion of western cooking with local flavour, very creative and delicious. Staff are friendly and efficient, very patient in the explanations of each item served.

I love Malaysia. So many diverse, delicious food traditions that seamlessly meld together and shape-shift in a way you see very few places in the world. But somewhere along the line, the Food Network, the AFC, and the cult of the egotistical, trend-obsessed chef reared its ugly face, in the form or deconstructed puddles of foam and heaps of colorfully... Located near the intersection of Jalan P Ramlee and Jalan Perak the Skillet is right downtown and convenient to most of the major hotels. If you are driving there is basement parking. Surrounded by tall buildings my first impression on entering was the quiet and peaceful atmosphere which is enhanced by the low key but elegant decor. The executive chef... More

This is one of our favourite restaurants in the city. The chef is local but has spent most of his career in Europe. Returning home he combines fine dining cooking techniques with local ingredients to create mouthwatering dishes. I love his laksa ravioli and don't miss his chocolate sphere desserts which change with the season.
