Chanced upon Emerald Garden when we were craving for Chinese food. We chose this firstly because they had parking space (it was hard to find one in Malate). Dont be fooled by the outdated furniture. The food was delicious, servings were huge, and the pricing reasonable. We ordered chicken, dimsum, fried rice and shrimp rice cake and loved them all!

This restaurant is located in front of the American Embassy along the Roxas blvd bay walk and adjacent to Luneta park. And it has a huge parking lot. So you can see how it feels like a holiday coming to eat in this restaurant. The breakfast menu is a dimsum heaven! Their siopao is epic!!

I thought it was pricey at first but no. It's affordable compared to others. Also they don't add service charge on your receipt. You can give any amount you want to those helpful servers. Super yummy food!

Go here for seafood Chinese style. Of all our dishes, the fresh seafood prepared here was the most impressive. Otherwise, we found the other Chinese dishes pretty average.

Got the chance to go back here last Saturday night after our Manila Ocean Park trip (which is just about 5 minute ride). This time, I brought my partner's family to try this authentic chinese resto. Ordered my all-time-favorite fried pigeon and braised sea cucumber with fish lip plus the green spinach soup and yang chow fried rice. Really feels... More

We had a family dinner here last Saturday and it was full. We waited for about 10 minutes until we are seated. There was no available high chairs for our kids but it's okay. Orders were fast and the waiter is friendly. He memorize all our orders without writing them down. We were amazed. Typical Chinese foods with big servings... More

Time permitting, we love to come here for breakfast. We always order their newly baked breads, specially, the Malay cake, siopao or lugaw (congee). And the coffee is freshly brewed. If you wanted fancy, one can pre-order their chicken emerald pie... a large pie, good for pasalubong. There is a large parking area near their place where the guard give... More

When i happen to be in Malate area, i never missed this restaurant. I always order for their special siopao, my "pasalubong" to my family but, you should be there before lunch time or else there will be nothing left for you.

This really was the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. I hate to write such a bad review, but there were 7 of us that ate and the feeling was unanimous. If you want cheap food and don't care about the taste, this is the place for you. I should say, the plain steamed white rice was good.

Place/Venue: Clean. There are several large round tables good for families. Parking is very much available. Food: Average Cantonese food for ala carte, good selection on dimsum and breakfast menu. There are many restaurants that will serve far better Chinese food specially on nearby Binondo Chinese district. Corn Soup : Poor to average Yang Chow Fried Rice : Average Fried... More
