I brought here my special guests. The place is so excellent. Our group, however, found the service very poor. Our order came only after many times of doing "follow-up" and already beyond 40 minutes from the time they got our order. Also the food were no longer hot especially soup (sinigang na belly) which is suppose to be steaming. ...so... More

This restaurant is very interesting and entertaining in a relaxing way. The interiors are amazing with modern and classic designs, i can say once you visit you'll feel like your a special guest on a mansion. Shrimp spaghettini and Beef bulalo ( filipino dish) was the dishes we ordered. We where delighted on the scene and was satisfied our hunger.... More

Nice quiet place to talk. Filipino food mostly. Food well presented but average taste. Price a little high for what you get.

My coworkers brought me to Romulo on my first visit to Manila and it was the best filipino food I had on the trip. The rabbitfish was incredible, and everything else as well. The location is a quirky old house, which adds to the experience. Service was great.

I went to this place with my friends and it's great. A little pricey though. It has that relaxing yet elegant ambiance in it.

I had lunch there recently with two of my cousins. Brightly lit but the A/C was running full blast - designed for those that want to arrive in suit and tie. The dishes are authentic Filipino but the presentation is updated like California cuisine plating. Price-wise locals consider it on the higher end. I would go back if I'm in... More

This is a great place for a meet up with friends as they have private function rooms on the second floor. The dishes they offer are wide and varied. The menu also includes the dishes that the namesake (General Carlos P. Romulo) had as favourites.

So highschool has been eons ago for me, and to get to spend time with good highschool friends is a blessing. We decided to try Romulo's Cafe based on the suggestion of my ex as she always had a thing for old Filipino anything or anything that would be representative of Filipino culture. The place was in Makati along Jupiter... More
