We were looking for something different to eat at the famous Maginhawa Street and found Sancho through the net. Our first orderr was the Paella Valenciana (PHP410) as it was indicated that waiting time is 20minutes. We usually don't order this dish bec the waiting time is about an hour unless pre-ordered. Anyways, the paella was not very authentic spanish... More

I love Sanchos. It's been around for a long time and I've always come there for dessert whenever I am in the area. I really love their brazo de mercedes, which is only 45 pesos for a slice. The churros are also good.

Used to eat at Sancho's regularly when I lived in the vicinity. Order their callos and their churros. Definitely comparable to Dulcinea's without the pricey tag. Skip the cakes though.

Lined up along the food alley of Maginhawa St. is the Sancho Churreira. Try the Php88 Churros served with hot chocolate dip. Rooting for their Churros more than La Lola in Rockwell.

This is the best place to have your dessert in Maginhawa. The cake slices and various pastries are affordable. The place is quite small and is very popular with families. Good set meals and drinks too.

One thing we noticed with the food was that almost all had a brown gravy base that was excessively used. We ordered the spanish beef stew, the grilled tenderloin and beef and mushroom pot pie; they were pretty similar in taste and pretty scant with the serving of the beef. My little brother however ordered a salpicao and he enjoyed... More

Yes, I had this craving for Churros but good old Dulcinea , a spanish cafe was far off Timog Area. Try Sancho because their Churros con Chocolate is as good as the original. So with their Paella Valenciana and Lengua Finznciera. Just along Maginhawa, close to home.....

We visited one Sunday morning and tried a plate of churros which turned out to be nice. Not really exceptional but it was perfect to share with girlfriends over a cup of coffee. Weekends are usually crowded, esp Sunday. I need a reason to come back here, anyone?!

After reading blogs about Sancho Churreira Manila, we were after their Churros con Chocolate. With our additional order, got a surprise with their, Brazo de Mercedes. Took home a take out and been longing for it until now. Must Try!
