It should get a star if the michelin folks would recognise Turkey, which i hear they don't. Well we had an amazing meal, lovely to meet the owner who was amazing and if i'm ever back, then this will be the place i go.

Kocadon's founder was the Bodrum Italian Honorary Consul; the restaurant is located not too far from Bodrum center and established in an amazing old greek antique property looking at night as a magical theatre with perfect lighting; cooking is very traditional turkish cuisine with that little founder's Italian good touch, starters and fish are mostly recommended;

This was the worst meal that we had in Bodrum. It's location in a pretty courtyard is the only good thing that we can say about it unfortunately! The Meze was ok but the main courses were way overpriced and not value for money. I ordered the Lamb with grape sauce and was so disappointed when it arrived. The lamb... More

Small plates of amazing food. Tastes good and the materials were great. Great service. Staff was good at English. Two persons spent around 90€ without wine.

I had previously very favourably reviewed Kocadon last year and our visit this year was as good .. if not better .. Sitting in that wonderful courtyard is as magical as ever. The Mezze are excellent and the grilled grouper fantastic. Service is impeccable if, on occassion, overly marshalling. The main issue with Kocadon has always been maintaining the bill... More

Just visible from the road around the marina, we visited for a lunchtime drink. Tucked away from the busy and stiflingly hot marina,our table under the white mulberry tree was most welcome. Staff for attentive and pleased to explain the restaurant's history. A highlight of my holiday on the Bodrum Peninsula.

Everything from the the service to the ambiance and the food was really good, it's removed from the hectic Bodrum marina and has a really nice vibe to it, could be considered as a more expensive restaurant is you compare it to the rest of the restaurants in Bodrum but no other matches in class or in food quality and...
