Must have driven by this place a thousand times over twenty years and never stopped. Recently I met a friend for breakfast. Wow was I surprised. True Southern home cooked meals. The breakfast is very traditional and you will get to see some of the locals that have been in Apex all their lives. The food is really good, the... More

This joint has been around for years and maintained its' authenticity. The food was great and really affordable. Kicks fast food in the rear end. The biscuits are the best I have yet tasted. If you're looking for a diner experience, then this is the place. The crowd sitting around was a great mix of ages, races and nationalities. They... More

My wife and I go here sometimes for breakfast and lunch. It is wonderful for country cooking. Handmade biscuits, real chicken and great sides. If you want some real food and not processed crap I would recommend trying them out.

Stopped by there today to satisfy my need for good hot chicken livers and I was not disappointed. Hot and tender, just pure perfection. The rice, gravy, green beans and a biscuit topped off an early supper. Their fried chicken is to die for. Not those huge pieces that look like over fed turkey but this is real chicken and... More

I had been in the area 2 years and decided I had to stop by before I moved out of state. They close at 3 and I came in at 2. It is set up like your typical fast food place. Food already cooked and just spooned into your plate. I get their 2 piece chicken dinner. It comes with... More

Don't come looking for fancy, don't come looking for a spinach-blueberry smoothie and a chi latte , come looking for an excellent Southern breakfast. By Southern breakfast, I mean eggs, bacon or sausage, grits or hash browns, biscuits (with or without sausage gravy) or toast. Naturally, coffee is served - you know, coffee: strong, black delicious stuff that wakes you... More

We've only been for breakfast and it's worth the trip. We always hit the drive thru to get a sausage egg n cheese biscuit, ham egg n cheese biscuit. It's on point each time and one of the hidden dives of Apex. You can't beat the taste or the low low price.

Good selection of food and it is obviously a favorite for the locals. Just happened to stop on our way to Furquay Varina and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. Old, original building with lots of "antiques" (stuff!) on the walls but very interesting! Locals, truck drivers, groups of ladies and families, a real mix of... More
