All the reviews we read about Amos Mosquito's were great and our visit didn't disappoint. There is a wait, no matter when you go. But stick it out, it's well worth the wait :)

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and service here. My husband and I, and another couple all got the fried and broiled seafood platter (called the Big Skeeter) and split it. It was quite yummy! The dessert was good, too!

The appetizers were delicious. We had the crab cakes and tuna. We were not impressed with our meals. The shrimp in my shrimp and grits tasted frozen. My husband didn't love the duck confit Mac and cheese. It wasn't worth the money.More

Enjoyed the grouper special tonight as group of friends went to dinner. We had large group and all plates were great. One had broiled shrimp. Another had the tuna. We ate on the porch with a beautiful view and had great service from "Peaches"!

While we had a 45 minute wait on a Friday night, it was easy. Rocking chairs, easy bar service, and a roving magician! He was particularly outstanding. Table service was very friendly, and we were seated at the window. Beautiful views of the water and...More

This restaurant is run like a finely oiled machine. The management is definitely involved and the server staff is on the ball with good menu knowledge and prompt and courteous service. Most staff have names of flowers on their shirts. Of course not their real...More

My wife and I went last night and it was very good! The shrimp and scallops we cooked perfectly. We didn't like the fact that they charge you to share a plate. It was kind of slap in the face for having surgery and getting...More

That is correct. On Wednesday nights in the fall and winter all of our entrees are discounted about 40% from their regular prices. We would love to see you on a Wednesday night.

It really does not matter what day you go. I would suggest arriving 30 minutes early and wait in line to get in during 1st seating.

Description
Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.
