Love Purple Chopstix for its' funkiness, friendliness, and familiar atmosphere. I take everyone I can there, and I love to show off the unique interior decor. The food is fabulous, as is the service and pricing. You must carry in your own alcohol and the staff is always accommodating plus no corking fees. If you're in Athens...don't miss this gem.... We had brunch here with family and friends the day after our wedding. I loved the buffet offerings - they were creative and mostly vegetarian. We had people from ages 4-87 in our group, and everyone enjoyed their meals.

Steadfast delicious offerings, my favorite place...beautiful, relaxing and funky. Staff treats you like family. Pricing $14-20 for a large yummy entree.

Purple Chopstix is one of the better and nicer dining options for dinner in Athens. The menu has a good variety of choices which include curries, seafood, pastas, and vegetarian options. All the menu items that I have had over the years are quite tasty. It is not a Chinese restaurant despite the name. It is a BYOB restaurant, so... More

The food was very good, service excellent, our server was top notch. We were there for a friends' birthday and were a party of 11, she explained the menu and specialties well. Appetizers, salads/soups and entree were all served at appropriate times and we were all served together, rather than bringing out entrees while some people were still eating appetizers.... More

This is my favorite place to eat when I'm in Athens. On numerous business trips their menu has intrigued me. First the Yellow Indian Curry, with a number of different vegetables and flavors, and, Yes! Even the zucchini tastes good! I never like zucchini. Next time is was the Bolivian Al Gusto. More tasty veggies, with chicken. The spicy beans... More

One of the worst "restaurant" experiences I've ever had. First, we walk in, and there's no one inside - no diners or staff, even after banging the gong for service (yes, that's an actual thing). Eventually a woman pops in and tells us to sit wherever and the buffet is set up here. We probably should have just left then... More

This eccentric little Athens eatery combines local artwork, a creekside patio, and delicious Asian-inspired food at reasonable prices. They are very welcoming to guests with special dietary restrictions, and every dish is made fresh. Thank you for a great dinner!

I wound up there with a friend. I still don't understand the hours. But if you can catch it open, Go, Go, Go! Very, very good food. You can't get it anywhere else on earth. I had this peanutty, gingery chicken that was a total palate pleaser. I didn't pay that day, but it bet it's pricey :)

100% unique and creatively decorated Purple Chopstix is a must see for anyone visiting Athens! This completely hip restaurant has delicious handcrafted eats sourced locally and caters to even the most sophisticated vegan and vegetarian pallets, while not compromising that of the carnivores. Aside from the incredibly satisfying food, the decoration is enough to make the visit worth while! This... More
