Discovered Kens about 10 years ago. Started making the drive down to Amber 2-3 times a year. Having grown up in a small town I am very familiar with the way the local yocal cop operates. Keeping this in mind I made sure to drive into and out of town slowly. Then 3 years ago I happen to accelerate up... More

Had a great meal of steak and a rib! Drove down from OKC for dinner (in town for training). Left the restaurant and turned north on 92. Seriously thought I was in the country, never seeing a speed limit sign, and local copy was sitting on the north edge of town. Got a ticket for 22 over 40.... nice speed... More

We thought going at 5:00pm which is only 30 minutes after they open we would not have a long wait. Wrong, we waited 30-40 minutes for a party of 4 in a long line snaking by peoples tables which I thought was uncomfortable for those already seated. Service was good and our waitress clearly knew what she was doing and... More

Has good food but really expensive. Take a wallet full if your gonna eat here. 5 of us ate here.... 3 regular meals, 1 grilled cheese and a kids chicken strip..... Costs us over a hundred dollars to get out.

My husband and I put together a progressive supper ride for our monthly Highway Horses church group. We did an appetizer at one restaurant, and we chose Ken's Steakhouse in Amber for our entrée . This place was so good, some of us ordered the prime rib dinner and it was delish! They were really busy and we had a... More

It must be the atmosphere that attracts people to this restaurant. Yeah, it's got that down home feel to it, but in my opinion it's way, way over priced (I don't remember exactly, and someone else in our party paid, but I recall figuring average with drink $30 something a person). There were five of us eating together and none... More

After hearing all of the hype I was really looking forward to eating here. What a disappointment! I ordered prime rib and the portion I received was mostly fat-very little meat and the flavor was not that good. They give you a rib as an appetizer. The ribs I had were tough and chewy. The salad bar is small and... More

From the moment you walk up to Ken's, the smell just draws you in. From the friendly staff to the best Ribs in Grady County to the Salad bar that has the freshest veggies, okra and the beans is a must!

No menu, I tried the smoke chicken dinner. It was like chewing on show leather. We were asked if we wanted a box to take home what we didn't eat, I said I didn't like it here I won't like it at home. The took off $6 for the chicken and charged me for a bake potato and salad. The... More

My girlfriend took me there for the first time tonight. Atmosphere was very enjoyable. Service was excellent. The prime rib however, was not very good. It was THE toughest prime rib I have ever had. My jaws were literally sore from the third bite on. Did not finish it (left half on the plate) nor did I take the leftovers... More
